Ken, you and I disagree on many topics, but in this we are in total agreement and disgust.:tear:

Thats sick.
My husband grew on a farm. I've worked with him on the farm.
Sick animals are put down, not left. If an animal is down but not sick they try to get them on their feet, the quicker after laying down the better the chance of saving the animal, after so long they are put down. Usually by a vet. They only animals I've ever heard of being drug were dead ones, it's the only way to move them into a more convenient place for the dead wagon to come and get them.
Farmers frequently slaughter for meat animals who were too injured to survive, we had some for supper, a bull gored another bull nearly to death, he had to be put down. But not sick ones. The meat is for family consumption, not market.
We haven't seen anything like what was described, but I'm sure it happens, somewhere, just not locally.
I agree with Tom, a true farmer does not do this.

There is no justification for this unnecessary suffering nor for this danger to our food supply.
In a strange irony, you are proclaiming your intention to a guy who votes to continue to allow babies to be treated far more inhumanely than this, and at least the babies are actually human. How can you?

With some folks, everything is about abortion. Can you say "one track mind"? Yep, I knew ya could. Also a good derail of the topic.

Road conditions? Abortion!
Dog barking? Abortion!
Gas prices? Abortion!

I might add, LE, I am shocked! You of all people condoning it. You are usually all over people about staying on topic. Shame!

Yes, I can say it, but again in a bit of irony, I have previously been accused (by Ken himself as I recall) as being weak because I would consider voting for someone who did not want to outlaw abortions. That was back in the days when Ken was supporting Ron Paul, of course. So I was simply pointing out what seems to be hypocrisy.

In yet another bit of irony, you complain about me being off topic ... in a post that has nothing to do with the topic. So the question is, can you say "double standard"?

Which supports my contention that some people just don't think before they post.
