If the Baptist Faith and Messsage of 1963 was a mistake why did it take 37 years to correct?

I see in your profile you're a sales rep.

Don't know what you sell but guarantee you one thing. If you sell for a Company you don't sell their competitor's products.

That's all Southern Baptists are asking. If you're an SBC Missionary - Sell our product.

Old management may have let you moonlight on the side but New Management has a strict policy.

Oh get off of it, how ridiculous, apparently you have no idea what your talking about. No one has ever said the 1963 BF&M was doctrinelly incorrect, all they did was expand it to include what seems to be problem areas in christian churchs now days.


So I guess when your chuch hires a pastor you don't bother asking him about what doctrines he believes in? You just pay him to teach whatever he likes, even if it isn't what your church has decided what it beleives?
And then of course your church doesn't know what it beleives, becasue everyone is affraid to start listing what the church beleives is doctrinely correct. Otherwise you'd have a faith statement, just the SBC does. How many people on this site(BB) will go to other christian sites and not bother to look at the faith statement? Apparently you do not, since your opposed to them.

These missionaries were given a choice and I believe they have had three years to make a choice.
