Yep, the roller bearing plant. As far as the Canton Bulldogs, I would say that I'm aware of their place in our history, but I'm too young to be an actual fan.

My relatives are Browns fans, and are highly annoyed by all the Steelers fans in Northeast Ohio! Lol

Why on earth would I watch, like, or endorse the NFL?

After the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl in February 2018, he was presented the Vince Lombardi trophy on live television. (And the Super Bowl is broadcast live, via satellite, all over the world).

It was especially remarkable that he (as the head coach) accomplished this goal, because he had only recently been a high school coach, and the Eagles organization was highly criticized for having hired him. It didn't make sense!

So he was asked how proud he must be of himself for achieving this miraculous success, in so short a time frame. But then came the big surprise (which resulted in severe disciplinary action from the NFL) ...

He stated all his success was due to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! And he gave glory to the Lord Jesus!

Why was this so significant? Because the NFL has strict rules, which state that under no circumstances is anyone to utter the name of Jesus! They're permitted to say "God" all they want, because there are many "gods" being worshipped throughout the world.

But they are admonished not to speak the name of "Jesus," because it offends and angers many, many people throughout the world (including the United States, of course).

And this is just one example of the way Christians in the NFL (and there are many of them) take their stand for what they believe in.

In short, the whole brouhaha regarding players who refused to stand for the national anthem, for instance, was another example of the media misrepresenting the reality of the typical player and coach in the NFL.

I would if the QB was Alex Smith... Who once was the QB of KCC... I watched Alex Smith in La Mesa a suburb of San Diego at Helix High School, for three years, my kids went there and the Highlander dominated their division... I guess the reason was his go to guy was Reggie Bush... History was in the making and I didn't even know it... Brother Glen:)
