If Texas fought for slavery in the Texas Revolution, and Mexico would not recognize Texas' independence and therefore did not recognize its right to be annexed to the United States, and a new war was fought to settle that issue (as well as to grab a lot more land from Mexico)... then, does this network also tell kids that the USA fought for slavery in what is called the Mexican War?
