Nor do we need "Hate Crime" laws, which unfortunately have made it on the books.

The Left argues that hate speech that can lead to violence should be banned. Such laws encourage violence, as a tool to induce censorship. Instead, we should arrest people who commit violence.

"Hate speech" is just code for saying things the Left disagrees with. Saying you want tax cuts, that's hate speech. Saying you never owned a slave, that's hate speech. Saying adopting out children to same-sex couples is child abuse is super-duper uber hate speech.

The Libertarian Party loves laws banning "hate speech". In their platform on their website, they don't have a single plank supporting free speech.

From the 2018 LP Platform on www.lp.org:

"We, on the contrary, deny the right of any government to do these things, and hold that where governments exist, they must not violate the rights of any individual: namely...the right to liberty of speech and action — accordingly we oppose all attempts by government to abridge the freedom of speech and press, as well as government censorship in any form..."

Just because their platform does not include free speech - does not mean they are against it.

I just looked at your profle - you do not say anything about an occupaton - so therefore, I must assume you do not work

That's not a plank of their platform.

The Libertarian Party has no room for libertarians. Their last presidential candidate wants government to ban "all discrimination" and he compared religious freedom to allowing murder. The Libertarian Party is just another left-wing fascist organization that pretends to be something they're not, like Antifa claims to be anti-fascist as they run around using violence to silence people.

Yes, the Libertarian Party gives some lip service to free speech, but free speech not even worthy of a plank in their platform. That's remarkable given the war on free speech that is raging in this country. That's remarkable given that free speech is the foundation of all our other freedoms.

The Libertarian Party platform even encourages people to harass others for exercising their freedom: "Members of private organizations retain their rights to set whatever standards of association they deem appropriate, and individuals are free to respond with ostracism, boycotts, and other free market solutions." In other words, go Antifa!

The moral perversion championed by the Libertarian Part is incompatible with freedom.

That is called freedom of association and Christians should have the right to exercise it as much as anyone else. I support free enterprise and freedom of association.

Yes, it is. It’s on the website. Stop lying. I do not understand why you are not banned. You consistently lie on this board.
You are running a campaign for banning a poster, aren’t you. Many here might like you to be banned over what could be considered lies. Carpet bombs from leftist media. Lies? Get a grip.

Five points

1) when you make a firm statement on a topic - you may need to have a valid source to confirm your statement.
2) be very careful with name calling - too much has been going on in this thread.
3) Read or re-read rule # 4
4) A word to the Wise is sufficent.
5) Remember we are Christians on this board - lets treat each other as Brothers and Sister in the Lord.

Are you confusing their website with their party platform? I said "plank" you said "website" Do you see the difference?

I accused of the LP party of encouragement harassment of people who practice freedom of association. I quoted from a plank of the LP platform "individuals are free to respond with ostracism, boycotts, and other free market solutions." and your response is "it's called freedom of association." Are you trolling?

The 2018 LP Platform plank on freedom of speech:

"We, on the contrary, deny the right of any government to do these things, and hold that where governments exist, they must not violate the rights of any individual: namely...the right to liberty of speech and action — accordingly we oppose all attempts by government to abridge the freedom of speech and press, as well as government censorship in any form..."
