No Respect for Ben Sasse

Donald Trump celebrating Ben Sasse leaving the US Senate is like the antichrist celebrating the death of the two prophets in Revelation.

It is shocking to see people who call themselves Christian supporting an antichrist and rejoicing in God's servant leaving the Senate. It's amazing to see some who call themselves Christian not only supporting the (snip) Trump, but also the (snip) Putin.

May God have mercy on your endorsements of antichrists.

… I think people are sloppy with the use of the term “Antichrist” and should reserve it for when it is appropriate only.

You are blind and wrong, wrong, wrong. Your fruit is Vietnam, Bosnia, Iraq. Afghanistan. Libya. The Arab uprisings. Ukraine/Russia. Putting our puppet Europe through hardships. All of the sanctions on Iran, Cuba, Venezuela and countless other unnamed countries and wars. We are responsible for all of those deaths. Quit covering for them. Trump doesn't like war, and so cannot be antichrist. That is a redeemable feature. You need to look in the mirror and see your blindness and murders that you have agreed with in the past. And your willing to kill in the future.

This is why I tag Donald Trump. He is a deceiver, a liar, a crook, a thief, and a godless person. Every true Christian should avoid him like the plague. I warn people that supporting Donald Trump is contrary to the gospel of Christ and in opposition to God.

antichrist doesn't like war either. antichrist want to rule and make the world in his image as a true narcissist. But, when antichrist is opposed, he lashes out at his enemies with a vengeance.
Watch Donald Trump and see him lash out.

That's almost exactly right. You saw the "World" lash out at President Donald Trump because he didn't like war. Now that he is out of the way and Putin isn't bowing down to them so the "World" lashes out at him. Keep thinking. One day you might get it.
Oh, quit believing in liars like CNN, msnbc, they are liars and have taken over your thinking processing.

LOL, I don't watch any of those media outlets. I simply hear Donald Trump and see he is antichrist and self-declared Christians are following him as though he were their messiah.

Ben Sasse is more Godly than the vast majority of people posting on the BB. He and his family seek God's will.
God ordained that he be Senator for Nebraska and now God is ordaining he be the President of UofF. Whatever or wherever God places Ben Sasse, God will use him mightily.
With Ben Sasse leaving the Senate, I take it as a sign that God is giving our country over to utter godlessness in politics. God's judgment is about to fall on this nation as He brings this nation to its knees.

And yet, Ben Sasse won’t articulate a position on teaching trans ideology to kindergarteners. This, in spite of that being a very big issue in Nebraska.

So, Ben Sasse, a man more Godly than most of the people on this board (according to you) ignores the voters in his own State, has been rejected by the people of his own State which has caused him to abandon his oath he took to the people of his own State when he was sworn in as Senator, quit the Senate seat of his own State and take a high paying job at a SECULAR university in another State.

Good riddance to another out of touch elitist who DOES NOT CARE about the people he is suppose to represent.

well, I don't know and I don't care what's been said here by some neverTrumper, but I wonder if it is true that the governor of Kansas, another lame duck neverTrumper, is really going to appoint himself to the Senate and then run again in some special election next year.

Gratitude doesn't seem to be one of Ben's strong points but he ought to thank DeSantis:

although I have to wonder if this wasn't a good way to get rid of Ben for him. Sasse seemed miserable when he was a senator as well as a dud. As for Trump, he got himself yet another scalp:

these RINOs are going the way of the blue dog democrats.

A quick google search will find a group called “Protect Nebraska Children Coalition” with stories talking about parents being energized over the issue of what children are being taught in schools including CRT, trans ideology etc… You, like Sasse, pretend there is no issue when voters are energized over this issue.

Literally, it is you that is living in a fantasy world of denial.

Additionally, your hero worship of Sasse by comparing him to Godly biblically men like Daniel, who faced severe persecution, borders on idolatry.

I encourage you to put your trust in God, not in very flawed men seeking secular wealth.

Just trust God, not politicians, and you will see a little more clearly.

Wow, what a terrible person. He intends to work at a non-religiously oriented institution.

I guess I’m an enormous sinner for working for SECULAR companies for the last 32 years to support my family and my ministry endeavors.

As far as I know, no one has compared you to Daniel.

I didn’t say he was a “terrible person”. He has ignored the concerns of the people he represents. He is quitting his Senate seat after being entrusted by the voters to represent them.

It is clear he doesn’t care about those who put him into office; not for their concerns. Therefore, I’m glad he’s leaving.

Additionally, any comments about what a great Godly person he is can be expected to be examined.
