I would. I also would make it clear that no political party or candidate represents a Christian perspective. We are called to be separate from this world not hopelessly intertwined with politics.
What a hypocritical post

Tell me what you know, not what you thinkGlad I am not the only one who thought that.
Good question FTW. Why don’t you answer it.Then why do you talk about politics so much? 90% of what you post is political.
Maybe Moore could find a job in the liberal media as the religious pun-dent. It’s more evident to me that the great and mighty SBC has feet of clay.I am glad that you agree that the ERCL should go, although it will be difficult for Russell Moore to find another job. His predecessor, Dr. Richard Land, is now president of Southern Evangelical Seminary in Charlotte, North Carolina.
I think that Christians must stand against evil in the government and the American government is leading us into bankruptcy by failing to cut spending and pay their debts. Also, the federal government is saying that a woman has a right to murder a baby. In the 1950s perhaps Christians were silent on social issues but that day ended. We are to be salt and light.
I had to find out what this deep state reference was...Jerry Falwell, Jr. Calls Russell Moore Out, Says He's Part of the 'SBC Deep State'
Liberty University President Jerry Falwell, Jr. took to Twitter late Monday night to call Southern Baptist Convention’s Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission president Russell Moore to the carpet.
Falwell took to Twitter Monday night to respond to a tweet where two-time Southern Baptist Convention president, Pastor Jerry Vines endorsed the new Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary president, Dr. Adam Greenway.
In Falwell’s response to Vines, he not only backed the former SBC president’s endorsement of Greenway, but he also took the opportunity to call Moore out.
The LU president wrote, “My good friend @jerryvines just told me Dr. Adam Greenway is a wonderful man and not part of the @drmoore SBC deep state regime trying to subvert the will of the church members! So glad to hear this news! @toddstarnes”
Ok. Glad I am not the only one who knew that.Tell me what you know, not what you think
1st thing, and I’m only telling you this cause you are from Jersey, make sure what you say you truly believe and you have researched it totally....and never, I repeat NEVER apologize for your own opinion. That is akin to feeling remorse and the man who feels remorse is twice week. Your opinions are your own and you should respect them. As for debate in here, it’s a good thing. Dissent, even conflict, are necessary, are indeed desirable so please no shrinking violets. Without dissent & conflict there can be no understanding and without understanding there there are only wrong decisions. Too few people stand up to bullies today.....don’t be one of them.
It's not tied in with my faith except that I apply my Christian values to my political positions. I have posted a fair amount on theology. Then why do you talk about politics so much? 90% of what you post is political.
No. I reject your combination of politics and faith. I do apply my Christianity to my political views, however. What a hypocritical post
Trump's tax cut for the rich is contributing $1.5T to the federal debt.I am glad that you agree that the ERCL should go, although it will be difficult for Russell Moore to find another job. OK Brother... I just don’t want to see you get pushed around. There is too much of that on here, mostly flamed by political agenda so I don’t like to see anyone run over. Your from Northern Jersey, you were in the military, and you are a sovereign grace kinda guy so I get somewhat protectiveI appreciate your concern but since when do I apologize for my opinion? I have tried to be less bombastic on this board but I do not always mee that goal. There is a side of me that could care less what people think of my opinion. But when I get like that I have to think whether that attitude is Christ-like. Am I trying to win an argument at all costs or to communicate the truth? There is a difference. Sadly, certain Christian leaders believe that the ends justify the means, even if those means include verbally destroying brothers in Christ. They have hitched their wagons to an ungodly system that has no concern for the things of God and will turn on them just as soon as their usefulness is exhausted. That is what happened to the Moral Majority. There are those on the BB who buy into the same thing. That is not my cup of tea. I have enough struggles trying to live obedient to my calling as a Christian.
