:tongue3: A Sarcastic Modest Proposal

I was wondering that with all the problems Baptists seem to have getting along with each other in some important areas of doctrine that maybe we need to select a Baptist Pope for the Baptist Board.

My first choice would be Luke2427. He knows what he believes. He knows and tells us what we ought to believe. He would be the perfect person to crack the whip and make certain that we are all aligned with his view of the Bible and doctrine.

The owners and administrators of BB don't have to make this happen overnight. But I just think this would be the best solution for all the dissension here.

Who knows this may be the first step in selecting a pope first for the SBC and then for all Baptist groups. In time, he may be able to unite all baptists.

End of Sarcastic Modest Proposal :saint:

So....You are not entirely sure what the appropriate forum for the suggestion of a Baptist "Papacy" would be... and yet you have the confidence to suggest a particular candidate for the position of Pope. I admit, I'm intrigued.
You have MY attention...All ears:

Simple clue, A Modest Proposal was written by Jonathan Swift (Gulliver's Travels guy) 300-ish years ago...and he executed it rather well. Let it go man.
