    Does it all really matter?

The vote has just led further to the Day Of The Lord. The Rapture is coming soon, and if anything has been advanced by this recent vote.

As Jesus Christ said, when your deliverance comes, stand up! Be ready, for the world as we know it will pass.

Keep in mind that there is anti-hate speech legislation pending in Congress. The Repubs have prevented its passage for 8 years, the Dems swear they'll get it enacted after January 1 2007. Now Bush says he will sign it. Is that another indicator of the collapse of his strong, unyielding positions on multiple issues? His Christian beliefs? Reaching out across the aisle, peace at any price? The next two years will be interesting, indeed.

What pending legislation are you referring to?

Bush does not have Christian Beliefs. He is a universalist heretic.

I think most of that original post is just a wee bit off base. It's a good way for a frustrated voter to vent, but most of that stuff is frankly, baloney.

The biggest mistake in the OP is to think that the government (either Republican or Democratic) can institute a Christian agenda. History is full of examples of attempts to do this. In most cases the most significant result was a trail of blood brought about by the coercive tactics of those in power. Our Anabaptist forebears can testify on this point.

Do you really think that American elections have an impact on the return of Christ?

    S625 Senate
    HR1343 House

I don't know if those are the current numbers. There have been several over the years.
