CD 22 update 1/28/21. After counting almost all of the DMV/Affidavit ballots directed by the Judge, (50 left to count) , Claudia Tenney gained 93 votes yesterday and 6 more today. She is up by about 130 votes, waiting for the Judge's decision on some odd small groups of ballots and the contested absentee ballots. Final appearances on the vote count are Monday and we should have a winner then. We are confident that we will have a new member of Congress, Claudia Tenney!!

NY 22 is the only CD that is not yet completed - should be by Fri Night.

The big question is: Since she was a previous Congressman - will she get seniority over the new class of 2021 or will she be at the bottom.

Local Judge has determiend that the R candidate has won by 109 votes.

But the D incumbent vows to go back to court!

Hmmm didnt the D's complain that Trump was doing the same thing?

Oh thats right - D's are not required to follow the rules.

Democrat in Iowa still hasn't conceded loss of Congressional District 2!

Pair of nail-biter races prove big disappointments for House Democrats

"in Iowa's 2nd Congressional District, Republican Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks beat her Democratic opponent....[but] Democrat Rita Hart has yet to concede to now-Rep. Miller-Meeks. The Iowa State Canvassing Board certified the election results for Miller-Meeks after she won by a margin of six votes."

"The late-counted races in favor of Republicans ends a disappointing election cycle for Democrats. They had expected to expand the majority won in 2018 by winning up to 15 seats. But in a stark reversal, Republicans gained 12 House seats, putting them only about six short of a majority heading into the 2022 cycle."

A Republican Congressman from Texas passed away from the China Flu so the total now awaits a special election.

Today, the D finally conceded.
