Did the intent of the Obama Administration's intent to persecute those CIA personnel involved in the questioning of terrorists lead to the failure of the intelligence agencies to discover the December 25 terrorist plot?

I agree that we don't. However, low morale can affect performance. Obama has taken a cavalier attitude toward the war on terror. He has been more intent on pushing his Marxist agenda than addressing the economy and the threats of terrorism.

Probably because he knows the "war on terror" is a big farce to scare the people into bending the knee to the international bankers and corporations who make up the NWO.
Don't worry OR the phoney "war" will continue as long as we have a scrap of one liberty left and one devalued fiat Federal Reserve note in our pocket. Until then you'll still be allowed to "pick your own poison" by voting for one or the other globalist candidates though. So, I guess all isnt lost eh? At least we can hope one of these globalist puppets posing as our leaders will one day do what's right for us. I wouldn't count on it though.

'A big farce' really? Maybe you should go to Iraq or Afghanistan. To think I have friends who died in Iraq for you to have the freedom to share your... I won't even finish that. Disappointed!

I find it quite revealing and revolting that you use Hitler's big lie and Goering's propaganda so easily and as often as you do Matt. But, then I've come to expect that from people who have more love for the military industrial complex than their own country and countrymen.

If you weren't so busy wearing your tin foil hat and trembling in your boots about every conspiracy theory that exists, you might have known that I'm not in favor of the wars we are currently fighting. Right now I see them as something we are engaged in and can't easily back away from, but I think there were better ways to handle the situation that the way it was handled.

Korea was a sham and my dad fought in that war.
Nam was a sham and I had schoolmates who died there.... and I was a teen who bought into God and country and our leaders could do no wrong.
If we have terrorist in our country..... remember this is where Oky happen and NYC WTC garage bombing happened... and 9-11 happened and Ft Hood massacre happened..... why aren't we sealing our borders and only allowing passage to visas and passports? Or is this too logical? Makes too much sense for our government to follow through????? They have money and manpower for all the things government wants to do why not secure and make safe our borders. And why send our national guard to fight on foreign soil when they should be here at home to protect us..... and why are we inviting other nations soldiers in to train on our bases and in our cities for things like insurrection, house to house combat, martial law and searches?????????
Almost all the 'terrorism' which has happened in our country..... we find out later that our secret agencies had some prior knowledge of who they were and what they were about. Is it possible, even if remote, that even one or two acts of terrorism was 'enhanced' to assure a degree of success in turning the heart of American people to accept 'in the crisis' the short solution purposed by leadership as to the cause and the remedy for war?
Remember, FDR was facing a financial crisis here at home with the depression. He campaigned against Wilson that he would not let American blood be shed to fight on foreign soil. We were already assisting the British with Navy and passenger shippments of supplies and arms to the war after the Germans attacked while maintaining a profile of neutrallity. Japan had had a few successes in the West and was building up her strength and we set up an antagonistic embargo which prevented fuel and essential supplies from getting through to her people (which could in itself be considered to be an act of undeclared war on a nation and its sovereignty and rights on the oceans). Then FDR set up our Naval fleet in Hawaii as sitting ducks for the suicide bombers. We had huge oil reserves also there.... but the Japanese.... as awlful as they were to soldiers captured.... did not bomb the civilian areas nor the oil storage but sunk our ships.... while Roosevelt sat and would not release information to the fleet that he had intelligence that the Japanese planned an attack until after it happened..... just to inflame the American people to accept War..... A war we most probably would have eventually entered anyway. Later Roosevelt, when asked about various concerns stated "If it happens, its because we planned it that way" and one on his cabinet made a statement "Government has the right to lie to the people."
Now I have precious loved ones fighting in this war and God knows I hope and pray for a safe return.... and will support them any way I can, and encourage them to train well, fight hard when required and follow their leadership.... but I don't think we were justified to go to this war.... even though I thought so at the time. Hindsight is 20-20..... but at that time, I was filled with distractions of my own too numerous to even consider the things which just didn't add up. I think most Americans were..... and I think most Americas still are too busy to consider what hasn't added up.

In addition to the “global warming” rip-off, you can add another huge international racketeering operation—the H1N1 “pandemic” of 2009.
Both of these ploys were designed to fleece the western nations of billions, possibly trillions, of dollars. In the case of the H1N1 scam, the western governments have already coughed up billions of dollars for vaccines to prevent a bogus “pandemic.” That means that we, the taxpayers, have been ripped-off yet again.
If class action lawsuits aren’t on the way, then they darn well should be.
The European nations have apparently not been paid off to the extent of the U.S. Congress, and have decided to look into things.
According to a report filed by F. William Engdahl, the Council of Europe Parliament has unanimously proposed to start an investigation this month into “the influence of the pharmaceutical companies on the global swine flu campaign.”
The purpose of the inquiry is to investigate collusion between the “Golden Triangle” of the UN’s WHO (World Health Organization), certain pharmaceutical companies, and academic scientists.
That scenario should sound familiar, as it’s similar to “global warming’s” collusion between the UN’s IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), “green energy” corporations, and academic scientists.
Both scams were intended to “redistribute the wealth” globally, while making the Global Elite, very, very rich. They get to wipe out the middle-class, destroy capitalism, install a UN-run global regime, and get exceedingly wealthy, all at the same time. It’s a win/win situation all around, for Progressives at least.

Actually, I've always been of the mind that we shouldn't get involved in something unless our immediate borders and nation are threatened. It has nothing to do with being a "pacifist liberal". It has to do with not risking the lives of our servicemen unless absolutely necessary. It has to do with staying out of countries business.
