Obama Campaign Cuts Off Interviews With Florida TV Station

What this is is the Obama camp finally met a news media source that wasn't willing to carry them like all the others. Biden fully expected to be treated with kid gloves and was broad sided by a journalist with some intellectual honesty. Now the Obama camp is just trying not to make any mistakes so they are going to cut off any media sources that will not carry them. Quite dishonest from the Obama camp.

I agree, however it's no different than the media unfairness McCain/Palin claimed when she was asked what periodicals she reads or to name some supreme court decisions she agreed with. They were very upset with the interviewer also.

No. I think he did an excellent job.
You're like the Bush supporters. You will say anything, no matter how silly, in order to support your candidate. Biden is a joke, and a horrible choice. Obama could not have a made a worse choice. And it shows everyday.

I truly believe that if Senator McCain were presented with the parallel question above he would get very angry and storm out of the interview. There certainly wouldn't have been any possibility of future interviews with THAT TV station. I think the Obama campaign did absolutely the right thing in not returning for additional biase garbage like that woman was spewing.
If McCain or Palin handled that interview like Biden did you would have been all over them accusing them of dodging questions and attacking others. Yet you give Biden a pass.

Would you like it if an interviewer called McCain a Nazi?
I wouldn't care, but I don't recall that Obama was called a Nazi. The question was about his policies, and Biden couldn't defend them.

These guys can't be taken seriously. Unfortunately, they are.

If McCain or Palin had handled any interview like Biden has then the true biased national media would have splashed it on every news mag, news paper, radio and tv news. There is not one of then reporting on this. Their media bias is showing up by their silence.

American was Marxist long before Obama came along...

Give me a break. This is as ignorant as they come. But it appears you have been listening to Air America.

Yep, I'm voting as far from the right as I can this election. I have watched them live in excess while we live without enough far too long.
So basically, you admit to be breaking the 10th commandment in your vote - you are coveting other people's possessions.

Friend, you don't even know what poverty is. It's sad, yet ironic, to see someone think they're poor when they've had time to write nearly 7,000 posts on an Internet forum using a personal computer in the confines of their home. Or are you really writing these posts from underneath an overpass in a cardboard box using Bluetooth technology?

Barack Obama's campaign killed all interviews with a Florida TV station after Sen. Joe Biden, the Democratic vice presidential nominee, faced tough and critical questions from a reporter at the Orlando station, the Orlando Sentinel reported .

During a satellite video Thursday, WFTV's Barbara West quoted Karl Marx and asked Biden how Obama's comment to "Joe the Plumber," about spreading the wealth wasn't being Marxist.

"Are you joking?," Biden asked.

West replied, "No."

Of course the old Chicago style politics would use such a tactic. Do not question the Obama agenda or you will be confronted by the Obama police withing 24 hrs. How can so many people not see him for who he is...?

Did they cut off the interviewer's access to the candidate? Did they curtail the VP's public appearances/access to the press?

(hint: nope)

Barbara West was right to ask the question.

Obama is a socialist.

When Americans see the whole picture, his election would eventually destroy the democrat party as we know it.

And yet they are still getting bonuses as was reported in the news today. It is that garbage that pushed me out of the repubs.

Don't blame it all on the Republicans. Paulson is apparently a democrat. The bailout was his idea, It was the democrat Congress that passed the bill. Since little or none of the money has been dispersed [and the market has slowed its freefall] I am suspicious that the entire fiasco was not designed to push the market down thus causing support for Marxist Obama.

If things get too tough you can get off the internet, save a little money. If that is not enough perhaps you can sell your computer.

Communist, Marxist, Nazi, Fascist: Is there are a difference. All are totalitarian! and a lot of democrats see themselves as the eternal rulers of this country, or rather the big dogs in a banana republic. Can you imagine what the country would be like with Barney Franks in charge?

Did McCalin/Palin kick reporters that didn't endorse them off the plane?

(hint: nope)

Yes, he is, he was a member of the New Socialist Party back in the 1990s. As for the Democrat Party, they need to dump Dean and start paying attention to PUMA and other DLCers. They will have to after Tuesday.

Actually the Neo-Con Republicans saw themselves as the supreme rulers of the universe. They spent our tax money on the Iraq war which had no other justification than keeping the U.S. as the Fascist dominator of the world. Finally we're going to get rid of those perverse leaders.

Irrelevant comparison. Very few anchors (particularly 4th-place ratings has-beens like Couric) receive multiple interviews of candidates. That's not the same as throwing an entire wing of the press off the plane, and cutting off access altogether.

And doesn't it bother you in the least that legit, well-read, respected journalists were replaced with unobjective, narrowly-focused "journalists" from Essence and Ebony magazines?

Wait...I forgot...we're talking about He Who Can Do No Wrong.

My bad. Sorry about using logic. :D

Ignorant remark. The thread went to totalitarian government. If anything is on-target along those lines it is the NeoCon Nazi's.

You have about 4 remarks, which you constantly recycle:

1. George Bush is Satan.
2. George Bush was never elected...only 2 people voted for him in 2000 and 2004, and I'm not sure about Laura.
3. George Bush is actually Hitler, he just got rid of that silly mustache.
4. This is the day that the Lord has made, but I hate George Bush for screwing it up.
