Obama Care is Junk

The more letters people get from their insurance company seeing their rates doubled and tripled Obama is going to have a huge problem. Hopefully there will be a rebellion at the polls. Insurance rates have not gone down they have gone way up. People have not been allowed to keep their same policy. Now I can only visit my primary care doctor three times a year. After that I am responsible for the full cost. My out of pocket expense was $7,000.00. Now it is $10,400.00. My monthly premium from $409.00 to $586.00. How is that better? Many can't even check the new rates on the government web site without having to give away way too much personal information. Heck, many can't even get the web site to work. It's unconscionable the way some folks are defending this mess. :BangHead:

They defend it because they have a blind, irrational allegiance to the socialist agenda. They don't know any better. The coming collapse of the ACA will be of such monumental proportions as to lead to the collapse of the Great Pretender's "reign."

We have an example to look at, RomneyCare in MA. It is actually more liberal than ObamaCare and seems to be working well. Why do you think the experience with ObamaCare will be different? The answer might be because the only thing the Republicans in Congress seem to have any ideas on is how to block ObamaCare. It might very well fail because many people in the U.S. simply hate Obama and will destroy the country to do so.

Follow - I posted this before, but you chose to ignore it. Massachusetts state officials are saying that Romneycare is going to cost the state over 50% of their budget within the next few years.

Do we really want to follow the example of a system that could have us spending 50% or more of our national budget on health care, taking away funds from education, infrastructure, and other necessities?

Well the liberal spin is to ignore the damage it is causing and just try to redirect to Romneycare as if the two are the same thing. I have no idea why liberals have such a difficult time making legitimate comparisons.

Revmitchell:"-----I have no idea why liberals have such a difficult time making legitimate comparisons."

A couple of possibilities;
1: "The truth shall set you free," ergo a liberal is so full of guilt for everything bad that has been inflicted on any dead people that their conscience will not allow them to experience TRUTH/FREEDOM/PEACE until some unspecified, nebulous penance has been paid.:BangHead:
2: They know deep down that their ideas are all screwed up, but lack the integrity to so admit and change course.:sleep:

My personal belief is that it is, in reality, 100% of each.:thumbsup:

I don't know much about the program in MA. Is it mandatory that every citizen of MA has insurance and if they don't, they get fined? Is the cost HIGHER than private insurance?

Yes to your first question; no to your second. One reason the cost is the same or cheaper is because of subsidies, which are causing the drain on state funds.

Listening to the talking heads on MSNBC is laughable and sad as they defend this debacle.

It's not sad. They are aligned hook , line and sinker with the Republican powers that be. Both parties are putting on a grand show. This is all about seizing more power for the government and the RINOs have just as much to gain as do the Dems.

They get to say "we fought the good fight" while still reaping the same power benefits as the Dems.

That is correct and do not let Republican, RINO apologists change your mind. Some people on this earth have no common sense or sense of history and politics.

I believe we are supposed to have meetings on our health insurance later this week, I am worried it is going to go way up. Last year at this time we had about a 25% increase, I am afraid it might be far worse this time.

I will let you know when I find out.
