Crabby and alatide seem to have the same bad habit of demanding proof and links and then completely ignoring them when they get it.

Reporduced from post 27 in this thread....

The link is in the OP and I have copied it here for you.

Here is the quotation from Obama included in the article found at that link.

“This is not just about the 47 million Americans who have no health insurance,” Obama said in a prepared statement at the start of his Wednesday night press conference."

Here is the link to the Census Report for 2007.

http://www.census.gov/prod/2008pubs/p60-235.pdf

And here is a quotation from that report that states that non-citizens are included in the numbers.

"Of all households, 86.6 percent were native-born households, 6.4 percent were households with foreignborn householders who were naturalized citizens,
and 7.0 percent were noncitizen households.'

Is this proof sufficient enough for you?

You gave bad links. The first keeps coming up that it is no longer a valid link. The second is an 83 or so page document, but only the first 18 pages will load. Giving a link to an entire document is like saying I am right, read the entire Bible it is in there.

In post 27 the data is from several years ago. Here is a quote:

The Census report released in 2005, said there were 45.82 million uninsured people in the United States in 2004 of which 9.54 million were foreigners. This means that the number of uninsured Americans declined from 36.28 to 35.92 between 2004 and 2007.

If you remember the economy tanked in 2008 and the number of uninsured people went up. So that is not a valid link in discussing today's situation. It seems to me that even is the uninsured is only at 35.92 million as related in the post above that is nothing to be proud of in such a rich country.

Why do you dislike people so much that you do not care if they do not have healthcare?

SNIP

Why do you bother?

Get ready for the strawman attack.

Just noticed. It's already begun.

Yup. Crabby wants people to have free health care so bad he's willing to make other people pay for it.

Go to post 27 - the link works there.

That only 18 pages load is a function of your computer.

And what is it with you and excuses?

So you want me to provide you with census data that hasn't been collected yet?

More lame excuses.

You asked for proof and you got it - now you want to change the subject.

I could assign labels to your debating skills - but there is no need since everyone else here can see it first hand.

If you cannot read the op and its link then refrain from posting in this thread. Ignoring the op to derail the thread is a dishonest debate tactic.

Dishonest - yes.

But it seems to be the only one that Obama supporters have.

When the truth goes against you what else can you do though?
