Obama is the Worst President Since World War II, Poll Says

More Americans consider Barack Obama to be the worst President since World War II than they do any other president, according to a new poll.

The Quinnipiac poll out Wednesday found that 33% of Americans see Obama as the worst post-war president, while just 8% consider him the best. Another 28% see former President George W. Bush as the worst. Richard Nixon, the only American President ever to resign in disgrace, was picked the worst by 13%, according to the poll.

And 45% of Americans think the U.S. would be better off if Mitt Romney had been elected President in 2012, according to the poll, while 38% think the country would be worse off.

Ronald Reagan was the most common answer among those surveyed for the best President since World War II, with 35% choosing the Republican icon. Another 18% chose Bill Clinton, and 15% chose John F. Kennedy.

I think this may be telling of where we are in regards to the 2020 election and I think the dems should be concerned.

I think that Ike was greatly underrated. As for Obama, he is was so petty and crooked and inept, but I am not sure that Willard Mittens Romney would have been any better.

I loved Reagan, but he didn’t possess the boldness to make all the changes necessary. He was a you get more bees with honey kind of guy, where Trump is a honey badger kind of guy. We need the honey badger right now.

Not sure such polls mean much. Dems certainly tried to downplay it, but it predates Trump (2014). A later poll (2018) showed him similarly ranked.

I believe the worst President in my lifetime (WWII to present) was LBJ (Hey, hey, how many kids have you killed today.) The great civil rights legislations during his term were the result of honoring JFK.

It is too soon to assess Mr. Trump, but if he (1) gets back the house, (2) keeps the Senate, and (3) replaces one more liberal on the court, Mr. Trump will rank among the best in my lifetime.

He ushered in many of the expensive social programs that created a new genre of parasites, greatly expanded several bureaucracies, appointed many liberal judges, & greatly expanded the Vietnam war without trying to WIN it, to enrich some arms makers in which his wife held stock.

(Do I believe he had JFK killed ? No; he preferred to be "the power behind the throne".)

Some people choose JFK as best POTUS because they feel sorry for him because he was whacked in office. They haven't looked at his PERFORMANCE-Liberal, much show, glitz-n-glitter, little SUBSTANCE.

Dem: Truman
GOP: between Ike & Reagan

Yes, many of these presidents performed so poorly there is little difference between their low scores.
