Obama administration pressured Ukraine to investigate Paul Manafort during the 2016 election

We already know about the liberal double standard in Washington, for instance it is okay for Democrats to talk to Ukraine officials and ask them to investigate Donald Trump or face losing funds but it is not okay for Donald Trump to ask Ukraine officials to investigate Joe Biden or face losing funds.

Democratic apologists could possibly defend this by claiming there is a difference between these two examples and that difference is that in the former case there was not an upcoming election whereas there was in the latter, but they might find it a little more difficult to defend this story.

It turns out this was not the first time the Democrats pressured Ukraine to investigate Donald Trump, the first time was during the 2016 election while Barack Obama was still President.

Here we have the Obama administration doing exactly what they are trying to impeach Donald Trump for and they are so arrogant they do not even care about the hypocrisy. The double standard is astonishing and the selective outrage is on full display.

If and when the senate meets to indict President Trump the RNC will be told by the DNC that Biden's family name and actions are irrelevant in the Hate-Trump Kangaroo Court and the RNC mice will give a SQUEAK of "OK if you say so".

I have a gut feeling (and also have heard an underground rumor) that there is very deep trouble within the Democrat Party the likes of which has never been seen over the proposed impeachment attempt of President Trump.

The feeling is AMONG MANY within the Party that Trump's conversation with the Ukraine, although ill advised, just doesn't rise to the level of seriousness to make the charge of "high crimes and misdemeanors" and the attempt to make the charge will do severe damage to the Democratic Party, the Office of the Presidency and the image of America.

Especially because the Obama administration DID THE VERY SAME THING! See the O/P.

There is also scuttlebutt that this is Trumps plan exactly what he wants to force them to "fish or cut bait".
Actually they took the bait.

Here is what I think they will do.

Call for the congressional impeachment vote, make sure ahead of time that IT WILL FAIL

OR (more probable) Call for another investigation, issue a myriad of subpoenas, string it out with endless hearings and thereby let it quietly die on the vine. Of course what then will Trump do with his subpoena power?
I think every one knows what Trump will do if either the DNC or RNC try to tell him what to do.

They (Pelosi/Schiff) are indeed out on a lurch.

Well, I agree, but also the left wants to dump Biden and they are using this incident to dump him. Biden cannot clear his name because he sold his office for family gain. If Obama didn't know about it at the time, then he was not in charge at the White House. If Obama did know about it, then Obama allowed Biden to sell the American people out for family gain. Pelosi will want to let this fade away without any action but Pelosi is an abortion nut who probably believes in eugenics.

Sanders is an Independent and not a Democrat. No one likes him because he is a communist really. He is worth several million and has three homes and his wife put a college out of business. People say that he is not friendly.

As Kat Timpf said Saturday night Elizabeth Warren did not find out that she was white until she was in her sixties. Kat said that she knew she was white when she was a little girl. Warren lied in order to get several good jobs. She even planarized the recipe that she put in the Pow Wow Chow cookbook. Like Hillary, Elizabeth Warren just is not likeable. Everything about her is a white lie.

I think that the Dems will have to pick a long shot and dump the elderly white people in favor of someone who has not lied and stolen as much as those three have.

Yes, the Dems are hypocrites, hypocrites without conscience.

Only when confronted did Schiff shamelessly admit his misrepresentation of the phone call transcript was a parody in part. Schiff has proven himself a parody of what a leading lawmaker should be. He is the quintessential embodiment of political caricature. Pelosi has now repeatedly stated the Dems are proud of him, one of the few believable things she’s said. No one should take these people seriously, except as vicious, devious operatives far too dangerous to be allowed to participate in government.
