Obama sticks to Easter in his weekend radio message. GOP, not so much.

Excerpt from article:

Obama observed that “The common thread of humanity that connects us all – not just Christians and Jews, but Muslims and Hindus and Sikhs – is our shared commitment to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.”

“To remember, I am my brother’s keeper. I am my sister’s keeper,” he continued. “Whatever your faith, believer or nonbeliever, there’s no better time to rededicate ourselves to that universal mission.”

So basically new age pablum.

New age and Marxist

Interesting. So the GOP is New Age and Marxist. Remember my question was, what does that make the other party.

Also I did not know that Jesus was/is New Age and Marxist. After all he advocated that we care for each other, we are to be the keeper of our brothers and sisters.

If they do for Christianity what they have done for our country I don't want to hear any of them talk about the Christian faith. They are empty platitudes. If I want to hear folks talk about God and Jesus I'll make my way down to the church.

Which one...you may find Vlad Putin, Nan Pelosi & Chris Christy there. "I am just a poor boy & my story's seldom told.....lie lie lie, lalalala lie lie lie...."

The so called family values party didn't mention God on Good Friday in their weekly talk. Obama said:

Nobody like to be lectured on Christian values by a non Christian. Obama should just keep his mouth shut and wait for Ramadan.

[personal attack deleted] as do the media he is fond of quoting.
GOP.com: "He is not here: for He is risen, as He said" (Matthew 28:6).http://www.gop.com/general/rnc-chairman-reince-priebus-and-co-chairman-sharon-day-easter-message-2/http://www.gop.com/general/rnc-chairman-reince-priebus-and-co-chairman-sharon-day-easter-message-2/

“Today we awake to the joy of the risen Lord as Christians around the world mark Easter Sunday,” said Chairman Priebus. “To everyone who’s celebrating, I hope that you’re surrounded by loved ones on this day and filled with God’s peace. I wish you a happy and blessed Easter.

“It’s my prayer that the joy of this Holy Day and the hope of eternal life remain with us throughout the year. The darkness of Good Friday has been replaced by the good news of Easter: Christ is risen!”

“Today we lift our voices in song, praising God for the gift of everlasting life and giving thanks for His love for us,” said Co-Chairman Sharon Day. “And as we celebrate Christ’s triumph over death, we remember the example He set in His life on Earth: love for our neighbors, kindness to the marginalized, and forgiveness for all.

“A very Happy Easter to you and yours!”
Now that's a message for Resurrection Sunday! And it didn't mix politics with "religion" as the Little Marxist Dictator did, and not even on the day Christ's resurrection is observed.

(Plus, the GOP message was actually given on Resurrection Sunday. Where's the LMD today? Faking it with true believers at 19th Street Baptist Church, a place of worship that knows what Resurrection Sunday is all about.)

And I repeat ...
