I checked and you are correct. "Conservative" does not appear, but "liberal--" or roughly a form thereof, as Alan Luddin used to say-- is there in 5 verses. But it is significant that all 5 verses refer to giving liberally; not taking, by government or any authority.

Folks, don't you just love it when a person conveniently (and, apparently, purposely) chooses to ignore anyone who dares challenge that person's mindset by failing to respond to any pointed questions addressed to said person?
Seems we had a couple of these folks before that matched that very same modus operandi who're no longer with us here on BB.

J/K... You stated your case well, however, I am not always right but am never wrong which is why I get to be judge. Don't make the same mistake Israel made by asking for King because I would then have to judge the king.
Having said that, I must tell this story... My mechanic works on race cars every weekend. You can usually find him at a speedway on Sunday instead of in Church. I likewise wouldn't choose him as Pastor but he makes one heck of a mechanic. Sure, I would that he would surrender his life to Christ and I would like to see him live a holy life. But I will still take him as my mechanic even if he comes short on the other criteria.

The story about my mechanic give my view. I wish that everyone was saved but I wouldn't pass up the best doctor in the hospital because he's atheist. I believe God can and does work through anyone to accomplish His Will. Even non-believers...

However, nowhere in my posts 27 & 29 (nor any others) did I indicate that--as LeBuick would suggest that, in fact, I did---neither the various P['s]OTUS nor or any other person(s) about which I may have referred were unsaved.
I prefer rather to leave an individual's personal relational status between him and the LORD up to those two people themselves. I'm not the HS, nor have I ever made any claims that I was.
If the Bible includes such people as Abraham's nephew or backslidden David or the carnal members of the Corinthian church in God's family, then precisely where God draws the line between the lost and saved is something far beyond my finite abilities to determine.
If LeBuick at this point still has me on his "un-ignore list," then perhaps he can point out precisely where I indicated in my posts that such persons were unsaved.
So, LeBuick, instead of evading my rather specific points of contention I brought up by merely referring to your tale(s) about your mechanic, why don't you give us all a point-by-point commentary about the remaining people to which I referred rather than merely rushing to the defense of just one of the POTUS's about which I made a passing observation?

Now ........you claim that my asking you to respond to my Posts 27 & 29 is some kind of lure to entrap you into some kind of abortion debate! Where you got that notion is beyond my feeble attempts to connect the dots between my reference to Ex 20 (which mentions A WHOLE LOT of other things besides what you believe ONLY refers to abortion) and trying subtly to lead you into a debate on said topic.
Since you made that assertion, it's now up to you to PROVE that is what I'm trying to do by citing the specific passages in my posts on this thread where I even specifically mentioned that topic!!
As far as I can determine, all you've done so far is to evade commenting on anything else in my posts on this thread besides that one sentence in which I made a passing reference to Clinton's lapse of moral character [Something that, having first denied so, he himself reluctantly subsequentally admitted.] by:
1) Ignoring my posts;
2) Referring to a story about your mechanic rather than referring to the specific points I'd made in my posts on this thread; and now
3) Falsely attrubuting to me some sort of secret agenda that you claim I've got----but nowhere can PROVE any such agenda does, in fact, exists!
Wouldn't it be a lot simpler if you'd just stick to the point(s) I mentioned in the other 99.9% in Posts 27 & 29 rather than merely casting out red herrings and evading the foundational issue(s) I brought up [none of which had/have anything to do with abortion]?
If you'd take the time to analyze what I posted, I think you'd find out that I'm probably closer to your point of view on most things than you're suggesting I'm not.
I'm not your enemy, but merely someone who's seeking your opinion(s) on the vast majority of things I've posted on this thread.

You know, you really need to shake off this apparantly self-inflicted paranoric condition into which you've allowed yourself to be ensnared: A condition about which a couple other of your ["Former"?] fellow BB friends have also pointed out to me that they've also noticed concerning the tenor of many of your recent posts.
Maybe you need to seek out some good, solid, Biblically sound third-party to help you out of this situation that many here on BB have noticed about you. Since I'm neither not the HS nor do I possess the training and/or credentials to be of much help to you in this particular case, I must defer to someone else in this manner.
As I said, I'm not your enemy, but rather a concerned Brother and friend who wishes only positive things for you. But I cannot, in and of myself, lead you to the ultimate resolution of your situation.
However, I can pray that you'll--with the help of God's HS whom I believe resides within you--honestly seek His help and His direction so that all of us here on BB can once again fellowship with the LeBuick we once knew and enjoyed.
Does that sound reasonable enough to you?
