I think it's too naive to think so. Definitely to count on. However, the Republicans really need to analyze this and find out if they need both Rubio as VP nominee and making a campaign issue of Obama's stretching out his tongue. Maybe the latter alone can grab Florida with such a large over-the-hill population. But who then could be chosen running mate from Ohio? If either candidate wins both those states it's unlikely enough others will change what's otherwise expected regardless of any one issue.

The election is a ways off and I question if Mitt Romney can beat him. This President needs to be booted out, but I am not convinced at this point it will happen.
This was actually a smart move on his part after the VP made his announcement. This way it will be hashed out early with lower polls and the people will forget about it after the Democratic national convention when I believe his ratings will shoot through the roof.
Our nation has lost its way because the church has lost its way. I think the fact that we have a communist, Marxist President with socialist values in the white house and his opponent is a Mormon non Christian proves it when we could have had someone who was a real Christian with moral values if the church was on solid ground. Not only is it that the overall country does not want sound moral people to lead, the church for the most part does not want it either as we have turned to seek a form of godliness while denying the power of the real thing. :tear: I believe that we are about to reap what we have sown.

Although I didn't believe it to be true when I read that Obama claimed to be a Christian, this is just one more thing that proves that claim to be a lie. God says that men with men and women with women (sexually) is unnatural and an abomination.

But why make this announcement now? Makes no sense. Why not tuck it under your desk calendar (along with Keystone pipeline) and bring it out in Janauary at the inauguration?

By doing this now, and with the looming SCOTUS decision against his healthcare (and for Arizona's immigration law?) this is a bad move on top of a bad move. Could start creating motivation to vote for Romney in ways Romney could never muster.

If I had my way there would be another Reagan on the Republican ticket for president. As it is I have to make a choice between a known Marxist who don't like this country and strongly favors abortion and probably euthanasia and Mitt Romney with all his faults. I am not going to have a childish pity party and not support Romney and the Republican Party this fall.

If I live until the Constitution Party becomes a credible alternative to the Republican party and is really what its name implies then I will support that party's candidate for president or whatever.

What redeeming qualities do you see in the Republican party. You have failed to show any evidence of a gap between the two, whether it be domestic issues, foreign policy, or morality. Anyone that votes for Romney is voting for the same qualities they have criticized Obama for going on four years now. What is your justification? Do you think he is going to find the golden leaves and balance the federal budget?
