Obamacare - one great point

My sister -in-law just called last night and said her family just got insured through Obamacare and it only costs them $35 a month with a $400 deductible. WOW!! However they don't make much money at all, probably low income level at the best. Not sure what they spent before this. They are happy though, so I guess Obamacare is helping some folks.

Thats nice - but what does that have to do with the OP?

and now back to the OP

This law will be a nightmare for the vendors, and surely increase prices.

We have vending machines where I work, and one nice thing is that they change the assortment from time to time, you get tired of eating the same snacks every day. I can see where this would make it difficult for a vendor to change the products.

Just a point of clarification. When in the Navy electronics school and before my spiritual days we had a vending machine with hostess cherry pies. If you would put in your quarter, pull the lever and hit the machine just right all pies would be dispensed.

Now, the question, in this case would the vender only have to label the first package in the row or would he still have to display the information on the front of the machine :p

the info must be posted on the outside of the machine - either via hard copy or by digital readout.

Simple income redistribution. They get cheap health care off my back and other who now have to pay higher premiums with a much higher deductible. I hope they are proud of their government welfare. :saint:

Who care about that Salty? What is really sad is the way Obama is destroying the health insurance industry. That's what's important and that's why this thread went in that direction. Calorie counts on vending machines is the least of most folks worries when it comes to Obama Care.

this also boils down to unneeded Federal regulations. this is a constant problem in our country.

Who cares about it - well first business who own vending machines.

Second - you may - when your vending machine only carries 1/2 of the items previously carried.
( apparently you did NOT read the link in the OP)

Yes, destroying the health care is important - but that specific discussion is for another thread.
