The 61 percent approval rating is also slightly higher than his predecessors' numbers around the same time. President Bush stood at 58 percent around 50 days into his administration. President Clinton was at 53 percent, President George H.W. Bush was at 56 percent and President Reagan was at 60 percent.

In other news, a little more than half the country (61%) is still clueless.

Jimmy Carter was at 70% and look what he did to the country. I predict the O'bama misery index will double that of Carter.

I believe it was A. Lincoln who said "You can fool all the people sometime, you can fool some people all the time, but you can't fool all the people all the time."

You may be wrong, but, it may be myself that is wrong. Whatever......Obama is doing a great job.....at fooling 61% of the people all, most and some of the time. But, those who are being fooled, are not going to believe they are being fooled at any time during this presidency!!!! What a shame!

Shalom, and Prayers for a Major Revival,

P.S. I think the honeymoon ended the day after the Inauguration.

Sad but true. God's judgment is on us now for the proliferation of murder.

I'm just wondering why you believe God's judgement is on us now, all of sudden? Why wouldn't His judgement have been on us for the past 35 years or so? Did God overlook all the abortions that happened before Obama?

I have come to the conclusion that many here will constantly deny any judgment of God unless He so states on big interstate billboards across the nation, has a TV special to proclaim it, and has every newspaper run a special edition headlining the event.

Reading His pattern re: Israel et al is apparently not considered modern enough to be acceptable!!

Rough days are ahead folks, and trust in the modern false prophets that "--all is getting better--" will come back to bite us in the posterior just like it did the Jews

I'm not denying any judgement of God. I'm just wondering why He would start judging us for abortion at the Obama administration. If He is judging us for abortion, wouldn't He have been judging us for much longer than the past couple of months?

It is a combination of things, the latest proliferation of abortion by this administration is one of them. How they treat Israel may be the deciding factor.

God has been giving us warning signs. Before I get bashed for talking about them as usually happens in discussions of this sort (and like the general bashing Pat Robertson and others have received from fellow Christians on this topic), that is all I will say about it. But some of us realize what the warning signs to America have been in the last few years.....

Uh, no, not all of America is in love with Obama nor are they on a honeymoon with him or view him as anything more than what his actions truthfully indicate he is. See the links in my sig line.

IMHO, the judgment began on 9/11; or maybe the dot-com collapse; or maybe the supposed advantage of a CHRISTIAN president a'la J Carter; or the election of a supposed "conservative" a'la GWB - or who knows what!

I personally favor 9/11, but --- who knows "EXACTLY" when??!

There has been much that could be considered His judgment beginning - or warning of impending judgment, but I'm convinced that it has begun now with:
1) a socialist president
2) a "drunken sailor" spending congress
3) approval & encouragement of innocent's death as a birth control method
4) a total lack of accountability now in government since Ds control 2/3 of the govt; and have a strong pinch on the other 1/3
5) a total disregard for ANY Biblical standards of morality by this administration.

Does this satisfy, or is more needed?

I invite others to add as they see fit!

Here he goes again. Regardless of the topic, he is so single minded in his contempt for Bush he will not let it go and continues his rants. The OP points out the "approval" rating for Obama. Besides, it doesn't take longer than 2 months to notice the stench coming from the policies of the current resident of the White House.
