I don't consider this a political topic, because it concerns each and everyone of us who have to use this product to conduct our personal business, go to church, go to the store, take the kids to school and after-school activities, and just take time to recreate!

SEE:http://www.snopes.com/politics/gasoline/getused.asp

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wN4Rv_wbvII Be sure to view the second You Tube video on this posted article, as he tells an audience member to buy a smaller car.

The question I am asking those on this board...Do you, have the money to purchase another car? :BangHead:

RD2, I have a problem just gathering up enough to pay my property tax.

...I wonder what it's like to be earning 450 grand a year telling others to suck it up?

BUY A SMALLER CAR!!! says the Prez!!!!

So I trade my Chevy Silverado(paid for) in----automatically the sales person doesn't WANT my Silverado----because its too hard for him/her to turn a sale on it in his/her car lot!!!

Then when I drive the smaller one off the lot---it doesn't appreciate in value---but it DECREASES in value and is NOT an asset but is a liablility ----- any doofus who can put one foot in front of the other one would be able to understand that

Then-----the bank/financial institution owns the title to that "smaller" car---and will NOT forget about me when the first of the month rolls around and forces me to cough up $300/month for the next 60 months for a smaller automoble that is gonna fall apart long before the 60 months does-----know what I mean???

Then I have to call my insurance agent---and he wasn't born last nite---and I tell him I traded in my Silverado for a smaller car----and he's thinkin'----why would Blackbird go from payin' $15/month for Liability insurance on his Silverado to $45/month for full coverage on a smaller car----go figure---but hey---its Blackbird's money----so I'll write a policy that will cover a smaller car!!!

SMALLER CAR--------------WHAT A DOOFUS OF AN IDEA!!!!!!!!! IF THAT IDEA WASN'T SO STUPID IT'D MAKE ME WANT TO  BUT INSTEAD IT OUGHT TO MAKE ANYONE :tear:

Hey Blackbird, I stopped by our Chevrolet dealership the other day for a look at the new Silverado 1500 pickup.

Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive as I wanted to sense that new "feel" before they become extinct.

The salesman, (a black man wearing an "Obama 2012" lapel pin) sat in the passenger seat describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options.

The seats were of particular interest to me. He explained that the seats directed warm air to your lower parts in the winter and directed cool air to same lower parts in the summer heat.

Feeling a little frisky and messing with him, I mentioned that this must be a Republican truck.

Looking a bit angry, he asked why I thought it was a Republican truck. I explained that if it were an Obama truck the seats would be blowing hot air year-round.

I had to walk back to the dealership...! this guy had no sense of humor at all. :tongue3:

You ought to go back to that salesman and show him Obama's statement on buying smaller cars.

There is an "evil connotation" hanging over "carbon" presently.
This "evil connotation" has made it much easier for "price gouging"
without fear.
