Obama's speech on winning the election

I had breakfast with two men from Holland this morning. They had watched Obama's speech using their laptop ... as I did. IMHO as they are not being US citizens they can view his speech more calmly than we voters. Both said they found it a great speech, very inspiring, very uplifting and very hopeful.

They did not see Romney's concession speech.

Seems I remember basically the same speech in '08. What followed then did not match his rhetoric, so I'm not optimistic that the actions following this speech wil be any better - probably worse since he doesn't face reelection again.

I guess we'll soon find out what he meant when telling Putin(?) that "I can do more after the election"!!!!!!! ??????????

What lies did he give forth with in his speech? I bet you didn't listen to his speech.

Did you listen to Romney's concession speech. It was a good, gracious speech. I was glad to see Romney begin gracious and totally agreed with him that now is the time to work together, not play partisan politics.

These two fellows both have Ph.D's and can think. It may surprise you Rev. but Europeans follow US politics closely and are very knowledgeable. They asked some very insightful, tough questions.

There was also a fellow from the UK there. Same thing. He was very knowledgeable of what was and was not said during the campaign. He had not watched the speech and so could not comment on its being good or bad. Europeans seem to have a much broader knowledge of world events than we folk in the US. I blame that partly on the media and partly on our laziness.

By the way, Rev., how knowledgeable are you of elections candidates in England or Holland?

Yes but they are socialists like you. It is people like you CTB, professing Christians who flaunt the teachings of your Savior, Jesus Christ and vote for the party of death and their rabid baby killing leader, Barak Hussein Obama, who defeated Romney.
