A $1 can of tuna and a couple pieces of bread is much cheaper than a "Happy Meal." Apples, oranges, and bananas are quite cheap. Aside from that, one can order a $1 side salad if one just much go to McDonalds. Potatoes, beans, and rice go a long way.
