Gee Silly Me, I though we were suppose to be color blind, you know not judging people on the color of their skin (which should go in both directions) but on the conduct of their character.

Bringing race into every conversation is the antithesis of MLK dream.

Having a conversation with your children about respecting Cops when you interact with them is common sense.

you keep saying that but I have yet to see you post any kind of source or proof of that statement.

MLK is outdated and is being updated by Obama/Sharpton/De Blasio (formerly, Wilhelm).

Not only are the police turning their backs on De Blasio, they are also refraining from writing tickets. That could become serious if 16,000,000 New Yorkers keep acting stupid as they are now.

It also means less revenues.

Hank - after you posted, I went and read through approximately eight recent transcripts of Mayor de Blasio speaking on various occasions. He spoke strongly against violence and assured anyone who threatened or acted out would be arrested and prosecuted. I read him encouraging peace. I read him lifting up police officers in high regard and outlining plans to keep them safe.

I don't know a ton about the guy, but he sure is sounding pretty good.

The cry for cop-blood went up on 13-DEC, on 20-DEC the demonic prayer was heard from down below.

The leadership at every level of this well organized community should have immediately STOPPED this parade from hell upon hearing the request. Period!

Of what well organized community? There doesn't seem to be any real leadership for the protests.

The only way to have stopped it would have been for the police, who were already under attack, to intervene. That would have just escalated things more.

This was in NYC. These type of fluid protests are popping up all over the place organized via social media.

Now as bad as such a chant is, why would a FOX News affiliate take the chant and make it look like other protestors were also saying it?

Seems to be a whole lot of wickedness going on.

The backbone of the NYC protests were the professional demonstrators of the OWS crowd of people who are allegoric to soap and water and toothpaste.

So why would a FOX News affiliate take the chants of the OWS group and try to assign them to the protestors who were in DC?

Excellent observation. They are hitting comrade DeBlasio in his bank book.

This is akin to a brand of terrorism itself. Do what we want you to do, or we're gonna stop doing our jobs. FIRE all of them. It may not be reasonable. But fire everyone of them.

Fire an entire unionized police force.

Yeah.

Let us know how that's going to work. I see 50 years of lawsuits.

Never happen.

This should be a teachable moment for those socialist-loving East-Coast cities. More's coming.

Leftisits ignore all such "teachable moments". Their elitist egoes won't let them accept that they are wrong about anything.

This should be a lesson for the citizens of the United States and the rest of the world as to just how out of control a lot of the NYPD is.

They don't think anyone can challenge their authority. If you do, well we will just stop doing our jobs and force you to do what we want.

But people are supposed to trust them to protect and serve rather than to just kill?

i hope that "just kill" is intentional hyperbole. Otherwise it's sliming the entire force for the actions of a very few.

re: firing the force. My understanding is that the police commissioner requested that officers not turn their backs to the mayor, but said there would be no disciplinary actions if it happened. If that's true, firing the officers that turned their backs would make a flagrant liar out of the commissioner.

The NYPD is simply comrade Deblasio's extortion arm. It is the government that is out of control.

New York city is a mess. It comes from 60 years of liberal control.

But people are supposed to trust them to protect and serve rather than to just kill?
I'm in no position to to try and speak for the ignorant.

It's intended to speak to the ones who are doing the unarmed killing.

That is correct. He did say that. But this isn't turning their backs. This is NOT DOING their jobs.

I am a vet and recognize an organized and disciplined group when I see and hear one. These people were marching and calling out cadence. That doesn't come naturally one must be taught to march and call cadence in such an organized manner.

The only way to have stopped it would have been for the police, who were already under attack, to intervene. That would have just escalated things more.
You can't have it both ways. But anyway, when the local police are threatened with murder it's time to declare martial law.

If you mean REV Al and entourage then I agree.

Now as bad as such a chant is, why would a FOX News affiliate take the chant and make it look like other protestors were also saying it?
Because perhaps they were saying it?

Seems to be a whole lot of wickedness going on.
Agreed.

You can get that in JROTC.

Then declare it against them too for killing unarmed citizens.

Nope. I mean what I said. "Rev." Al didn't have anything to do with the protests all around the country.
Because perhaps they were saying it?

You're being silly. The FOX News affiliate has admitted they weren't saying it and that they edited the tape to make it look that way.

So why? Why would a FOX News affiliate purposely edit a tape to make it look like the anti-police brutality protestors were chanting "kill a cop"?

I have already admitted that Fox News is a large part of the problem.

I believe martial law will be declared in many US cities before the 2016 election.
