    In the Puget Sound area average wages are over $15/hour. $45,000 is classified as "low income" for a family.

    100 years ago half the population was involved in food production and half the population lived in poverty. These says less than 10% are in food production and we have food surpluses. There are to many farmers. Farming is sort of a religion.
