Psalm 8:2

"Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger."

Figuratively speaking Trump is a babe in the Lord, a work in progress, but with a heart for God.

He has placed God on open display in th WH, maybe not by the ones we would choose, nevertheless Trump acknowledges God.

God has ordained him with strength to still His enemies in this world. We are living in dangerous times and we need God's leadership.

Laugh if you will, but I believe Trump was hand picked by God just as David was.

David made many mistakes, fell on his face often, but God picked him up and moved on, because he had a heart for God.

Actually I think God put him in place to bring the USA to it's knees. The moves he has made so far has shown that the USA can not be trusted. He supports Putin which just shows he is an unprincipled person.

I know you've TDS like so many others do, but this smacks of anti-Americanism.

Maybe you're not such a good friend after all.

He supports Putin which just shows he is an unprincipled person.

So, you're pro-Ukraine war? Want them to keep fighting?

Orban Victor:

"Yesterday was a dark day for Europe. The @EPP Congress decided to support prolonging the war in Ukraine. They want to send more money to Ukraine, while the European economy suffers. What a shame!"

Wow now I am anti-american because I make a comment. That is the real problem with the USA, you think you are above criticism.

A good friend does not act the way Trump by skipping out on signed agreements. So your right he is not a good friend after all.

So you trust Victor Orban's comments. This is the man that wants to rule Hungary the way Putin rules Russia. False elections and all that comes with it. FYI he supports Putin just like Trump, but he's more open about it.

  • The X post references Charles McGonigal, a former FBI agent sentenced to over four years in prison in December 2023 for aiding Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska in spying on a rival, as confirmed by a BBC report; McGonigal had previously investigated Trump for alleged Russian collusion during the Mueller probe (2017-2019).
  • The Mueller investigation, detailed in a Wikipedia entry updated March 2025, found no evidence that Trump’s campaign conspired with Russia, despite examining Russian interference like disinformation campaigns and email hacks, highlighting the irony of McGonigal’s later actions.
  • The post’s meme format uses dramatic irony to critique perceived hypocrisy, as McGonigal, once a counterintelligence chief in New York, admitted to a felony that contradicted his earlier role, according to his sentencing remarks reported by ABC News in 2023.

I think the enslavement of Ukraine in a revived USSR is a heck of a price to pay for 6 months of peace (until Putin invades the NEXT country).

That policy didn’t work to get Germany to stop attacking and live at peace in the 1930’s-40’s … so I see little hope that we can sate the Russian appetite for conquest by throwing other countries to them.

We agreed to defend them IF Ukraine surrendered nuclear weapons … they were stupid to trust the USA. We should return the Medium Range Nuclear missiles they surrendered and THEN withdraw support. If Ukraine and Russia want to fight, then so be it. Disarming one side and inviting the other side to exterminate and enslave them AGAIN (read the history of Ukraine) is immoral.

@kyredneck you seem to be under the impression that if we just give in to Putin he will play nice. When he invades a NATO country is the US going to say it is on the other side of the Atlantic so not our worry?

Trump is proving that the USA is not to be trusted.

The problem as I see it, is the Putin foresees Ukraine possibly becoming a NATO nation, he will not stand for a NATO nation on the Russian border.

Ukraine will have to give up part of its territory on the border.

Trump has already said that they will have to give it up, how much is the question.

I agree that it is inconceivable to me how Ukraine will recapture its lost territory, however it is not the place of ANYONE in the USA (including President Trump) to tell Ukraine that they MUST trade land for peace. Negotiating for peace is a decision to be made by Ukrainians.

What the US and the world needs to decide is whether to arm people attempting to defend themselves against an invasion, or reward aggression by abandoning the victims.

I agree, But Trump may not.

We have a fortune invested in Ukraine in military aid just for them to stay afloat.

Trump has his eyes on mineral deposits in Ukraine for payback.

So I'm pretty sure trump will do what's in our interest and Ukraine's, he will stay on top of it.

But you know Trump, America first.

  • The U.S.-Ukraine minerals deal, signed on April 30, 2025, establishes the United States-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund, aiming to boost Ukraine’s economic recovery by jointly investing in its vast mineral resources, including graphite, titanium, and lithium, which are critical for technologies like electric vehicle batteries and weapons.
  • Ukraine holds about 5% of the world’s critical raw materials, but a quarter of its land is contaminated with landmines, posing significant challenges to resource extraction, as noted by experts like Tymofiy Mylovanov from the Kyiv School of Economics.
  • The agreement, negotiated after tense discussions between Presidents Trump and Zelenskyy, ensures no Ukrainian debt obligations to the U.S. and includes tax exemptions for fund revenues, signaling a long-term partnership to counter Russian influence and secure global supply chains.

I wouldn't say he "supports" Putin (Trump has done more against Putin than the last administration....and Biden's policies were "pro-Putin in terms of undoing what Trump imposed).

It looks to me like Trump approaches the Presidency as he would running a business. He absolutely attacks opponents, but then is good with them when they change their position. And he let's this go both ways.

I am not saying this is good...or bad. I suppose there are good and bad points. One bad point is it makes him unpredictable (everything is about getting what he wants, every thing is about the end result.

I agree he is an unproncipled person (or keeps his principles to himself).

That said, so far the results of his presidency has been good. All the debate is about what will happen, not what has happened.

Since when can Putin tell another nation what they can do or not do. If Putin does not like the idea of NATO on his borders then it must means he wants to be able to attack them and not have to worry about NATO stepping in.

Why should Ukraine have to give up land to the one that started the war?

Trump should stay in his lane. The US seems to think they can tell other nations what they have to do, wrong.

Putin is no joke, he will pull the plug over this and Trump knows it. Putin is going to get at least some of what he wants or he'll decimate Ukraine.

Putin will not be man handled, but he will negotiate with Trump.

The problem with Trump is he has a mouth problem. He does not know when to keep it shut.

He is like a child that because his parents tell him he is the best then thinks he can tell everyone what to do.

I have been around long enough to see that those with a narcissistic personality when given power are an overall disaster. They think they have all the right ideas.

Just look to the north and what has happened in Canada under Trudeau.

The only thing that Putin understands is strength. If you think he will stop at Ukraine then you do not understand him at all. He has said numerous times that he wants to rebuild the Russian empire. That means he needs Poland, Hungary etc.

What he will do with Trump is stroke his ego and play him like a fiddle.

A signed agreement means nothing to those that think they are always right.
