Like SheEagle911 had said, that's a big jump. You are comparing oranges to apples. There is nothing wrong with repairing and healing the body.
I'm fine with the knowledge and equipment God has granted cloning science to continue with on a path to healing the soul and mind of man. I have a real problem not allowing medicine to continue to advance.
Here your theology is way off base! For only Jesus Christ can heal the soul and mind, through salvation, He gave us, with His life!
Using your logic: If cloning were in Jesus' day, I suppose the Apostles would have had Jesus cloned, instead of the resurrection!
It has always been met with resistance from the church. Nothing new there except for thousands of people that have died in agony while the church figured it was God's will. Catholic and now Protestant.
