As of now 6,537 people registered on the BB.

Inactive profiles have been (and will be) deleted, so as of today we have 5,108 members.

Last month the BB was visited by 44,412 unique individuals (much more than the number of members) from 91 countries and a total of 849,051 BB pages were viewed/read by site visitors.

    Hope this helps.

    EXXONMOBILE! LOL, ok, so I probably misspelled that, but by now, ya'll ought to be used to my unique way of spelling things! {LOL, I've heard people with no common sense are extremly intellegent...does that explain me??!!....Yeah RIGHT! :rolleyes: [IMG] }
Webmaster, that's still a pretty good number of memebers, right?

Dear Webmaster, 5,108 seems very high to me. I wonder why if there are that many active members that you see the same maybe 30 or so over and over again, without much variation. I don't expect an answer....just pondering.

Oh and by the way...I could totally get into your cleaning house thing. I'm a "If you don't use it, get rid of it" type of person. In fact....all of my family are.... what do you call it when people won't get rid of anything? Anyway, my family often say "Here you go, I'll give this to you" meaning that they want to get rid of it, but just can't..

Can I ask you something? Will getting rid of the inactive accounts make the place run smoother or something? It seems like a bit of work, so I was wondering why you're doing it? Unless you are somewhat like I am and just can't stand anything collecting dust that isn't being used.

"Old" and "prunes", hmmmmm, still getting a subliminal message here.

HEY ABBY - I'm only 55! Someday YOU will get old and gray, too.

If God wills I live to grow old and grey, I hope to have wisdom that comes with age....we all know I could use some!
BTW, 55 isn't old! My great granny is 87, and taking radiation for cancer, and says "I don't care what no body says...ain't nothing to that ole radiation!" In fact, she still wants to drive! So I think old is all in how you feel. If you think it, you will be it, I guess.

Dr. Bob, you're not even old enough to be my father. ( and considering that you often seem to take a fatherly tone with me...I'm completely shocked that you are that young. [IMG] )

I don't think age is something to hide or feel ashamed of...it just simple is part of the process of life. I don't especially like the way it makes everything harder. But everyone, if their fortunate will have to go through it before they die and are rewarded with the ultimate pay off for our misery here on earth....physical death and life eternal in Heaven. And we can shrug off the old wrinkled, creaky, pain ridden body and get an upgrade. Yahoo.

I know...too philosophical for this thread.

Wow... too deep for this lady today! I need JOKES and HUMOR! My mother called today...... She's the one hubby says could suck the Happy out of a Room Full of Clowns.

What are you talking about Wisodmseeker? For you are a mere child. At least from the picture you used to have displayed on the BB earlier. Judging by that picture Dr. Bob could have been your gradfather! [IMG]

But now how is 64, going 65, sounds to you? ;)

Okay Barnabas you're old enough to be my Dad. My father is 63. Nope, Dr. Bob is only 15 years older than I am.

Diane I'm 40, 41 in November. I don't know if I should be flattered that you thought I was in my early 30's or not. [IMG] On the one hand it's nice to "look" that young, but on the other hand it could mean that I'm acting more immature than my age. (don't say it, please dont' even say it... [IMG] )

I wish this site alowed jpeg's, I would post a picture of what I looked like in my early 30's. Then you would really be shocked. I looked about 14.

Here's some light hearted quotes to make you feel a little better Diane.

Mark Twain warned, "Be careful about reading health books. You may die of a misprint."

Billionaire J. P. Getty was once asked the secret of his success. Said Getty, "Some people find oil. Others don't."

LOL C.J., I think I look younger than my years (see my profile) and certainly younger than the picture by my name but some days I feel ancient!

I first thought you were really young but then somethings you said sort of gave away your generation anyhow. LOL Memories.... ah!

Actually, I'm proud of all these years I've made it! I really would hate to go back and have to do them all over again! ;)

Laurenda! You LOOK early 30's in that picture you had up with Popeye before! I would have NEVER guessed 40.

I have a picture of me at 35 with hair to my waist. I weighed about 100 lbs and looked like a kid. Then something happened... Oh Well!

C.J., so you're between 16 and 64. Most of us are! Whatever your age, I LIKE you!

Approx. 1,000 inactive member profiles have been deleted. </font>[/QUOTE]Who ever heard of good Baptists removing anyone from their rolls? We generally don't even take the names of dead church members off of our records! I agree we had better have a special called business meeting to discuss the implications of this issue.LOL [IMG] [IMG] :D

That's what Blackbird told me too. He used to say "Young lady" and "your generation" until I called him on it and found out that he's the same age as my husband who's only a couple of years older than I am. Too funny. Just goes to show that you can't tell a lot from a picture the size of a postage stamp. ;)
