I also believe that politicians must spend time in the military...men and women alike & NO PRESIDENT can be elected without having served in the military.

Stephen Ambrose said in his books that in the Europeon Theatre---oftentimes politicians and high ranking officials would visit close to the front---and would oftentimes become a nusience and pests

To get rid of the politician---the troops would go aways off and start a "ficticious" skurmish line----just start shooting as if they were shooting at something---when it was really nothing

The politician would soon get back in the jeep motor parade and "vanish"-----tour is over, folks!!!

Quickest way to get rid of the politicians and upper eschalon near the front???----Start shootin!!!! When the bullets start singing----the politicians would run like scared little rats!!
