I am about a third of the way through this (see link) on the Death of Jesus Christ.
It isn't taking it from the Scriptures but is using any resource in order to methodically validate the historical evidence of the death of Jesus Christ.
This appeared in the March 21, 1986 Volume 255, No. 11 of the JAMA (Journal of American Medical Association) and so it is heavy on the medical aspects of the details of the crucifixion.
Now I realize that most professors want information from research to be a near as the last 15 years (some requiring 10 years) or less.
However, here on the BB, perhaps there are those who would benefit from this document.
So, without reviewing it in full, and with understanding that it is NOT based solely upon Scripture, but is in deed a well researched paper of note, I offer it to those who are interested.
Should someone find error, please indicate it in the thread.
