Story here; and a whopping 51% believe that evolution alone doesn't account for our origins - however, this would include intelligent designers and theistic evolutionists as well as 6-day YECies. I know the proportions are much higher Stateside but it does at least indicate that we Brits are not as irreligious as some people think...

Well, compared to Germany, I guess you're right...

The Body of Christ is not big in Europe. IMHO

I have read religion in Europe is going by the wayside. What a pity, but GOD says that the world will wax colder and colder.

Depends where you go; I think secularism is on the march everywhere in the Western World. I don't think any of us can afford to be complacent.

In my family in England, religion is just nothing to get excited about. They couldn't care less about creation, evolution or , "Hey, did ya here that Susan down ta road just had a baby....!" sort of thing. That is religion. A few keep a Bible on the sideboard. They may even open it to add another family name.

I used to go home for a month every year. During that month, I preached in various Anglican churches around country side. Some walked for miles to attend each Sunday. As time went by, I noticed that fewer and fewer attended. Those that did attend were quite dedicated to their beliefs.

Cheers,

Jim
