yes i've read others too (though can't remember their names) who hoped for the repentance of the Jews and their were great efforts to evangelise the Jews.

due to the rise of Dispensationalism and the over emphasis of Isreal there has perhaps been overcorrection and an emphasis to dismiss Israel.

They expressed the belief that towards the end of time the Jews would be converted. I saw an article by Lloyd-Jones to that effect. The amil pastor who opened my eyes to Reformed baptist doctrine wrote a booklet, "All Israel shall be saved." I didn't agree with him, but didn't have an opportunity to discuss it.

The problem is that the regathering of the Jews has taken place. Many live in the land promised to Abraham,
BUT
They are there in unbelief and have been for over 70 years - 2 generations, they reject Jesus as their Messiah and they behave towards the Palestinians as though they were taking possession of the promised land with a divine commission to take over the whole land with all its resources. Palestinian life counts for NOTHING to the people who claim the promises to the Patriarchs. IN YOUR SEED ALL NATIONS OF THE EARTH SHALL BE BLESSED.

The present situation in Palestine is utterly repugnant to the teaching of the Jesus, the Apostles & the Old Covenant prophets.

You couldn't be more wrong.

Ask my friend about British foreign policy when they held the cup of trembling. One could say their performance led to their current difficulties.

The British led the betrayal of the Jews and the San Remo agreements as soon as oil was discovered in the Middle East.

The British are a mere empty shell of what they were a hundred years ago and rightfully so.

I am reminded of Paul teaching how much greater it will be when those who are natural Israel are brought back into faith in Yeshua as messiah!

many feel that Great tribulation will be God turning back towards national Israel, and preparing them to meet their God Lord Jesus at His second coming!
