    Who “invented” emotions?

    God.

Who is made in His image?

    Us.

Therefore, He and we have emotions.

God even gets very angry. So did the Lord Jesus.

He didn’t have any mercy on my sister when He struck her down at 2 years old with menegitus from an inoculation, she lived 39 years as a vegetable in constant pain and my parents had to do everything for her causing my dads untimely death at 39 years. Then my mother had a nervous break down. That wasn’t
Exactly a merciful time for my family…no food, no heat, almost destitute….then more sickness w/o medical attention. A nightmare!!! Where were the emotions, the mercy and help with improving living conditions? Cold as ice!

Did we shift gears here? Is mercy an emotion? I don't think it is.

I am very sorry for your family's troubles and hurts. It doesn't help much to think other family's have troubles too. And it probably doesn't help much so say, "Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal." I do believe when we get to Heaven, we'll not think of the things, the pains, the sufferings, we left behind. That doesn't help much while you're going through it, I know.

I know God cares, and I for sure do NOT know why your family suffered in such a manner. I do know I cannot blame God. Mankind's own sin produced this fallen world. All the blame is on us, and I do thank God that this is not all there is. I believe God is a good God and all who trust Him will soon behold Him and will be satisfied when they awake in His likeness.

Again, I am sorry for your hurts, and I believe your family's pains hurt God even more than what I can feel.

Thank you…The Holy Ghost turned me around and showed me that Jesus went through far more and did it for our salvation. At that point I wept and was regenerated. My conversion is taking far longer. I’m a sinful man but I’ve got Gods grace for balance and I’m a child of God. That gives me great comfort.

Merry Christmas to you and yours
    Brother

    I would say this:
    Addressed this:
It was God's predetermined plan, but it was not God doing the action.

We see this throughout Scripture (for example, God did not sell Joseph into slavery, but this was God's plan).

    Gods permissive will!... Brother Glen:)

Matthew 26:53 Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

We have spoken of Primitive Baptists and Reformed Baptists insofar as Calvinism goes. Here I believe Primitive Baptists (based on your reply) has a superior view because I have spoken to several Reformed Baptists who object to the idea of God's permissive will. At least one on this forum (a few years ago) outright stated that God is ultimately the source of evil.

I realize not all Reformed Baptists reject the idea of God's permissive will. But I have not encountered any Primitive Baptists who reject it.

I am sorry to bring this post back, concerned it may be hurtful, but I got to thinking--God didn't strike your sister down--man did. Man is who came up with the idea of inoculations (vaccines), some of which have been helpful, and some of which have been very harmful, to wit, the C-vax, which in my opinion after reading all I could about it, is very unsafe, it was rushed through too quickly, uses a different methodology, and I believe has literally caused many person's deaths. But was man that made the inoculation that harmed your sister, evidence again of the fact we're in a fallen world, and men mess up. It will stay that way until the Millennium, when God removes the curse (people will still be born sinners during that time, however).

I hope I have not caused you additional pain by addressing this topic again.

M… you are right, man did. And he is still doing this experimentation on the public evidence my wife’s 1st cousin Kenny. He had his “required shots” and very soon got a heart attack, followed by a stroke. He received another heart via transplant and was kinda on the mend until two days ago when he received two vaccines which threw his body into another stroke. We all thought him dead… And my wife was up two days praying. Bottom line, Kenny is still with us. I am convinced this is all spiritual warfare. What possessed these Cornell Medical staff to introduce vaccines into this man???. Now he has blood clots on the heart, a traumatized body, back in the ER for Christmas… what the hell were they thinking! Please pray for Kenny’s recovery.

Forgot to mention M that I find you to be a very companionate man, thank you for your concern… God is good, this is why he came, to provide comfort to the downtrodden… and indeed I am comforted. Merry Christmas.

The degree of insanity and loss of common sense in this world has skyrocketed in the last few decades.

    Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
