It is as if they do not want one positive thing to told about Obama and what happened with Michelle and the kids last night was priceless and moving. I think

It stars Lindsay Lohan, and she plays this adorable, sweet young woman that everyone falls in love with. But in real life Lindsay has substance abuse issues and even problems with the law, and is pretty much just out of control.

but she is adorable in the movie...why?

BECAUSE SHE IS ACTING.

Just like the Obamas.

BTW, there are not many young children that DONT love their fathers, no matter how low down and evil they are.

This performance was all fluff, no substance at all.

I didn't see the speech, but I wonder how you could tell she loves him and he loves her from a speech? Love is not shown by scripted campaign moments, but by day to day life in the home. I am not saying they don't love each other, but rather pointing out that there is no way to know that.

Furthermore, I am quite sure that the kids were doing what they were told. Most kids will lock up in front of a crowd that big unless they are well coached. Furthermore, what kind of dad is it that doesn't even tell his kids where he is? Obama ought to have those kids with him as much as possible. And he ought to be talking to them all the time particularly in an age of cell phones. If they really didn't know where he was that is very problemmatic. If they did know where he was and asked for the show, that is almost as problemmatic.

But let's not be wowed by these conventions. They are totally useless.

I will not vote for a man who has 4 LARGE trash pails at his curb. Sorry but that's totally against all reasonable environmental standards.

We're a family of 6 and only produce 2 small pails a WEEK plus recycling.

You know, my friend's husband seemed like the perfect husband. He was very attentive to his wife and you could see just how much he doted on his children. His children adored him and came running to the door when he came home.

Then we found out that he was a twisted, sick, demented individual who had the most perverted life. All under the veneer of a wonderful husband and father.

You cannot judge the character of a person by what they show in public - especially so public as national TV in their campaign for the presidency. He might be the perfect husband and father. He might not be. But even being a perfect husband and father doesn't mean he'll make a perfect president. I'd say 98% of the children in the world adore their fathers and would act the same way as Obama's children did. His daughters are 9 and 7 - ages where daddy can do no wrong.
