It was January '73 and I was in my bedroom at home. My brother and I were playing together when my mom came in and presented us with the Gospel. We both were saved that day.

Somewhere between first and last day of confirmation classes, I realized Christ as my personal Saviour, in a Church of England, 1940, at thirteen.

Cheers,

Walking to classes as a high school freshman.
I stopped beside a small stream, prayed and went on my way to school.

In Muldoon Road Baptist Church in Anchorage, Alaska, in October 1971. The Sunday School lesson was written to me, and the preacher's sermon was prepared just for me. When I asked God what I should do, He sent a thought into my mind that a family of four (Dad, Mom, Sister, Brother) would go down at the invitation. I was number 5 to go down!

Still nothing more than a distant child to be born to get really REALLY specific.
When I knew it? At home, in my bedroom, left hand side, near the door.

At my home, (at the time) in Lithonia, GA. in the spring of 1975, in front of the sofa in our living room.

My wife was at her home, (at the time) in Lithonia, in 1976.

In the gym of a small-town high school at a county-wide youth revival (I was 10). The speaker was Mike Brumley, a catcher with the Washington Senators, 1964-66, who had left baseball after hitting just .229. Looking him up, the only reference I can find as to his preaching is in wikipedia.com, which says he became an ordained minister in the 80's (?). He has a son of the same name who also played major league baseball and has recently become a coach with the Seattle Mariners.
