No, it's the rejection of the Calvinistic definition of the Sovereign God. Most people don't accept the idea that God predestines people to damnation.

Neither do mostcalvinists!

Would hold thatHe predestines those elected in christ to receive eternal life, but permits the rest to have their own will, away from God!

Thank you, Yeshua1. That is exactly right.

The Scriptures state, "... are condemned already..."

God does not need to determine who goes to hell. All are hell bound already. It is the state of the unregenerate.

BUT for the Grace of God, there is no salvation.

God has no obligation, nor can humankind assume that God is unfair by not redeeming all.

That is as God wills. That is as Scriptures teach.

Illustration:
I just got back from the produce section of the store.

No fruit had self volition to hop into the basket. The fruit had no words of language or thoughts that in which I considered listen. The fruit could do nothing of itself, but eventually rot. I did not redeem all the fruits, only a few that I chose, that I considered I wanted, to suit the purpose I of my choosing. I plucked out of the many that which I chose and gently placed it were I willed.

I am not God, but that is not too far off from what God does with humankind.

I attacked nobody, I quoted IC verbatim. His own words condemn. You need to go back and read it again.

Read it again. You are still attacking him for expressing his beliefs.

for harping on reading comprehension so much it would do you a world of good to heed your own advice. The line was drawn at those who believe
as he does are believers, those who do not serve another god. He (nor you or anyone) has any business making such bogus claims.

Bull. I make those decisions all the time, and so do you, unless you are a universalist. In fact, any exclusive claims of salvation whatsoever, necessitate calling others lost. Are people who don't believe in Jesus saved? Define belief. Define saved. Define Jesus...

YOU do not even live by what you are saying (unless you tell Buddhists and Atheists they are going to heaven, in which case you need to quit posting in the Baptist section...)

It is hypocrisy, plain and simple.

Right back at you. I am getting sick of you telling people who are simply affirming their belief that they are "attacking" people, and breaking the rules. That is ridiculous.

...and you have the nerve to tell me to step up my posting  This must be the "aggressive" part of the passive / agressive Iconoclast...

Yeah...right. Here we go (in context)

Quote: HOS
This is yet again, your consigning someone to Hell and proclaiming their being un-saved because they disagree with your "correction"....Why do you do this? That is evil. This is why I said: (I should not have generalized all into one group).

Quote: IC
This is evil........
HOS..... I am responding to what you post. God is the one who sends people to heaven or hell. I believe these verses;

32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

I confess before men how the biblical God has saved me and others. Multitudes have agreed to the same confession of faith and others very much like it. They are called calvinists.
You and others on BB have openly denied the biblical God I worship.
Yep...still says the same thing.
Yes it does say the same thing...in response to this;

I simply do not want to worship the Moral Monster they worship. And I never want to emulate the vicious and un-loving messengers of their god."[/B

Webdog....this does not sound like a biblical confession of God to me.
Does that sound like it to you? Are you kidding me or what! I should not question this??? Would you say that anyone who believes this is God will be in heaven?

What a weak, unimaginative, childish, and non-Sovereign God you Calvinists worship.

He is a 5 year-old child who merely utilizes force to demand his own way every day in all situations.

What an unloving and preposterous deity this is.
The God worshipped by Calvinists is simply non-Sovereign, weak and un-creative. .

I simply do not want to worship the Moral Monster they worship. And I never want to emulate the vicious and un-loving messengers of their god

If you want to defend this ,enjoy yourself. I will post against this garbage everytime:thumbs::thumbs:

This is closer to a violation of any rule than anything I post.

Names...like liar? Step up your game, man! Provide the Scripture that I don't worship the same God as you... or maybe it is you that needs to step back into the shadows
What I posted here is what I responded to. Tell me how you understand those quotes any different than I do. I have not named any person in particular in any post....I have warned that some who profess faith ,as scripture says.... some do not have the reality. That is a proper caution, and I usually will remind someone that I cannot see their heart.
Names like liar... are used when you and AIC say I have named anyone in particular...when I have not. I say show it...you cannot!
