Tithemi (G5087) is used to refer to being established by God's determinative will. Using "ordained" as our translation choice improves transparency in Matthew 24:51, Luke 12:46, John 15:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:9, 1 Timothy 2:7, 2 Timothy 1:11, Hebrews 1:2 and 1 Peter 2:8. Key is the avoidance of using this word for any other Greek word. By going from 12 Greek words to just one Greek word, the underlying text is made more transparent for those who actually study God's word.
