AS A POSTER ON A "CHRISTIAN" MESSAGE BOARD,I HAVE MY MARCHING ORDERS==Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”Matthew 28:18-20 YES SIR!!! LORD.

God's Word to me a believer=no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from me," declares the LORD.

I believe that God has our days numbered...and that no one should expect to get through life without some struggle and personal tribulation. Paul said that his thorn meant that God would be more sufficient than his thorn which leads me to believe that taking ones life is to lack adequate faith in God to see you through to His chosen day for you to leave this life and enter heaven/ glory.

Of course you must be born-again to understand this concept, so I am not judging this person. I am just concerned that more states will follow Oregon and allow assisted suicide, and that this could eventually become a way of life, mandated by a society that is opposed to supporting the elderly and sick in our health care system.

I will not judge what this young woman decided. I am not in her position or level of suffering. I will say this...we do not allow our beloved pets to suffer, so why would we want any loved one to do so? If remaining life is just suffering, pointless medical treatments with no hope of recovery, and running up huge debts, why would I wish to continue?

I am torn. I cannot fault her, though I do not believe in the morality of such a decision. There is a level of pain that once reached, one desires relief at all costs.

It is easy to judge unless faced with it.

Pets and people are not the same thing. You are comparing apples and refrigerators.

Their life is just as precious regardless of the suffering.

The problem is, though, who decides enough is enough?

This is an apt description of my thoughts on this matter.

If you were suffering, and dying, and machines could keep you alive indefinitely, would you remain on life support?

I am very torn on the issue. But taking someone off life support and helping them commit suicide are two different, yet admittedly similar, issues.

Exactly. My grandmother recently passed. She had a signed DNR order, as well as a DNI. She was ready to go, and it was basically for us to make our peace with the situation. The DNR / DNI certainly made things easier.

It would've been vastly different if she'd asked for a handful of pills that would mix to end her life.

Because those who Jesus shed His blood for are not dogs.

Humans have souls. Souls that are bought with a price. I think that makes a big difference.

roflmao!!! I think most people have one!!!and you?

If this doesn't get you banned then I don't know what will.

For starters, your acronym has a profanity in it. You then questioned whether or not a fellow Christian board member has a soul or not which is crossing the line.

Consider this post reported by the way.

Update: Goodnight sweet prince.
