The article isn't clear. It appears he was imprisoned for some 20 years—1999 thru 2020.

His British asylum prior to the bombings sounds strange. That he was let out early due to COVID-19 risk sounds silly, but it was only a few weeks ahead of schedule. Evidently, they had already shaved five years from his plea deal. Let me guess. Good behavior? LOL.

He couldn't be sent back to Egypt, because they still mete out justice for committing horrible crimes. Presumably, that's how he gained asylum. Welcome to the Liberal West.

This country puts up with violent crime and violent terrorists. Biden also wants the death penalty gone.
One problem with the death penalty, liberals have made it very expensive to government. It is cheaper to house an inmate for a life sentence than hand out a death judgement.

This country is a policy wreck, everything it does moneywise is grossly inflated. You can blame the liberal government for all our woes.
I cant think of any worthwhile contribution a liberal socialist brings to society.
