I believe if you look at the Oscar's Board of Governors a lot of questions would be answered. How many ethnic groups do you see in the photos?

Then look at the 2014-2015 committee. How many ethnic groups do you see on the committee?

That looks like a SBC church staff.

Don't know how Hollywood got involved with Christianity but you can be sure that the Academy is all white liberal Democrats so you would think that they would be quick to write Rev. Al a check, wouldn't you?

Which again, reinforces why this shouldn't even be a story other than the pundits on FOX News pushing it to be.

As was said, it's money and politics.

Fox News? I don't watch Fox News. HLN was all over this story. I also read about it on news sites that are not Fox News. Hate to burst you bubble Zac but not everyone who you disagree with watches Fox News. Obama in his first term attacked Fox News and the left jumped on the band wagon. And now, anytime a liberal or race baiter disagrees with something Fox News is blamed as the source.

You got issues as nobody was talking about anyone disagreeing with me. So save your venom for a victim you can handle.:wavey:

The story has been pushed by FOX. Nobody said anything about you or anyone on here watching FOX.

Why is it that when folks like Zac disagree they always use the Fox News angle? Most folks don't need Fox News to help them smell a rat or formulate an opinion about the motives of race baiters.

You mean like whenever your toilet backs up or gray clouds cover the sky for too long, that you and your friends can find a way to blame poor lil old Barack Obama?

You must have a reading problem because no one was disagreeing . I simply said it's a news story because the pundits at FOX News keep trying to make it one.

Most folks don't need Fox News to help them smell a rat or formulate an opinion about the motives of race baiters.

I guess Sean and Rush and FOX News are on the approved list of race baiters.

Some of yall cry race baiter as much as you complain about black people crying racism.

Because they monitor the daily talking points of the demoncrats, so they think everybody else follows the same process for whatever their "party" is.

The thought never occurs to them that it's just common sense; not just mimicking some talking heads.

From the link:

Frank Pierson, a former academy president who won an Oscar for original screenplay for "Dog Day Afternoon" in 1976, said merit is the primary criterion for membership.
"I don't see any reason why the academy should represent the entire American population. That's what the People's Choice Awards are for," said Pierson, who still serves on the board of governors. "We represent the professional filmmakers, and if that doesn't reflect the general population, so be it."

My main concern is how many redheads are on the committee. My second concern is leftys (hand wise - not politicial) My third concern is military veterans.

Yes, I would like to know how many left-handed, red-headed, GI vets are on the committee!!!!

MSNBC, where are you when I need you!

You tell them. Rev. Al is broke and cannot pay one penny of the 4 1/2 million dollars he owes the IRS. Rev. Al needs his fellow Democrats in Hollywood to cut him a check.

He uses more than Fox News! Stick around and watch how he uses every far, ultra right angle to make his point!
