OT: Brothers and Sister, I truly need your prayers!!!

Brothers and sisters of the board.

I was a work and since I didnt feel well I left home early. As I drove, I was praising God and all of a sudden the transmission on my car blew. I work 1 hour from home, and the mini van wouldnt go past 30 miles an hour.. and that was pushing it.. The radiator also started to leak. I didnt have any money at all for a tow truck, only .95 cents to my name. I just paid the van off with my income tax and now this happens.

Well, I know God is awesome and will provide. Anyways, as soon as I get home I receive a call from my brother crying and screaming. He is in the hospital and has congestive heart failures and his kidneys are failing. Well, they just told him that they have to do emergency dialisis because his kidneys stopped working.

I have no Idea how I will get to the hospital, I dont have one single penny. I am going to just take the mini van like that...I have to go see him. Please pray for my situation. I know God is a good God and he will never let us down. Please keep me in prayer folks.

God Bless you all!!! I just got back from the hospital, they gave him morphine to calm his pain. His legs are really swollen because his Kidneys are not working. It was so hard... I mean when my mother died when I was 6 years old he was the one who raised me. I was strong though and I kept on motivating him and telling him that it will be ok and told him that Jesus love him and that she he should accept Jesus as his lord and savior and repent.

He was crying and he was a nervous wreck. To be honest, I have no Idea how I have had the patience and joy that I have had during these past 6 hours. However God is so good!!!

My mini van is still the same but even at 20 miles per hour I still got to the hospital... :laugh: people were honking and it was hilarious.. Hey we have to laugh at things.

Thank you all for the prayers and I apologize for writing a thread just asking for prayer but you guys are like my family..

Never apologize for asking for prayer--it is an honor to pray for you. To be able to go to God and say, "bless them, Lord; help their need; glorify Your Name"--it is a gift. I have been lifted up in prayer so many times to the point that I felt like I was floating on clouds through all the trials surrounding me--to be able to pray for another for that same comfort and cushion--it is a gift indeed.

Thanks for all your prayers. I honestly feel a peace from God that its amazing. Its like its not even bothering me that I dont have a car and work 1 hour away from work. Why? No idea :laugh: , my wife asked me.. Tali... Have you decided on what we are going to do? I was like... nope.. but I God knew before I was even born that this would happen and if he knew then Amen.. he will supply just like he supplied Abraham when he was about to sacrifice his son.

Anyways, I could care less about the car.. I am more concerned about my brother. I am also concerned about his salvation. One thing that I havent said is that my brother is a Homosexual.

A song I heard years ago comes to mind Tali. The Chorus goes something like this.

As far as the van is concerned I want you to know that I prayed about 9 years ago for a car because I needed one and didn't have the money, and God, who is faithful has provided and I have had four vehicles since then none of which I had to pay for and one of which came with a company gas card. I'm not saying that God is going to give you a car!! or even that he will GIVE me another one but I promise that you will look back and say WOWGod has been so good to me.

I'm Going to pray
1.) That God will burden your brothers heart about being saved.
2.) That God will provide you with a better vehicle than the van. What color?
3.) That he will hold your hand through it all so that your entire family will see who he is.

ANOTHER UPDATE!!!

God is soo good... his Kidneys started working this morning again. From a 4.9 creatine level they are now at 2.4 which is a good improvement and he stared to urinate by himself. He lost aprox. 15 pounds of water in the last 24 hours, so they are holding off on the Dialisys. Glory to God!!! He was so happy!!! The doctors are still telling him that if this doesnt continue they will have to still do dialisys but the doctors are also happy and amazed. :thumbs:

Prayed for you, and am excited for you, brother. Praise the Lord for the good news. We seldom enjoy the Potter's molding process, but in hindsight, it is always more than worth it.
Recently, Isaiah 40:12-31 spoke to me in a time of need. After reading verses 12-28 about hw great God is, and then reading v. 29-31 about how he is waiting to help us at our inevitable moment of need, I want to shout! :godisgood:
