Ought against thy neighbour - If any have ought against me, please bring it to my attention.

Ought against thy neighbour - If any have ought against me, please bring it to my attention. I am speaking about matters in character, words said, things done, not doctrine. (I understand if you disagree with me about doctrine, but this thread is about any apologies I need to make regarding non-Christlike words or behaviour outside of doctrine (we can talk about doctrine elsewhere))

Mat 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
Mat 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
Mat 5:23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Mat 5:24 Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.
In these times and events and yes, the Holy Ghost (I pray), is bringing me to make this open invitation to any and all I have made contact with on this board to allow any to share openly their grievance (or privately if you so choose, PM me). It doesn't matter how long ago the grievance. If it is brought to your heart by the Holy Ghost, do not be shy about letting me know. By God's grace I shall apologize for it (publicly or privately as you choose).

I am allowing also that others who desire the same thing, to share this thread also for the same purpose. Please state your invitation as well (in other words, if you want to use this thread for similar purpose, feel free to do so).

Let us all be as right as we can be with one another, before it is too late for any of us to do anything about it. Better now than never.

To the moderators and Admins of this Baptist Board, I especially want to address you (publically).

I would like to apologize for all unChristlike behaviour, attitude, words, actions (I know it is general). If you have anything specific you would like to bring to my attention publicly or privately, please do so. Anything in private will remain so. Though I disagree very much with certain things what have taken place by moderators and admins over the years I have been here, please know, that though from my perspective frustrating sometimes, I want to say that I do love you (as it is in Christ Jesus). This goes for Squire, Salty, and others.

Please allow me to start with robycop3.

Sorry for the 'batman' thing. I thought it was funny in response to your statement, and thinking about it (the picture) still is a little funny (c'mon, your picture with batman's mask), but in thinking about it more, I do not think Jesus would have done it. So. Sorry robycop3, you are a precious soul for whom Christ Jesus shed His blood and died. Feel free to ask the moderators to delete the image and post if you want (and show them this post).

I will use the opportunity to ask you questions which only require a ‘yes or no’ response.

(1) Were your parents SDA?

(2) Have you ever wondered why so many pastors and SDA church members have left Adventism?

(3) Have you ever read their testimonies which are online?

(4) Are you currently under ‘probation’?

(5) Would you be interested in discovering, for yourself, whether Sister White actually had ‘The Spirit of Prophecy’ from God?

(6) If I show you actual contradictions between Scripture and Sister White’s teaching, would you admit Scripture is correct and Sister White’s teaching is anti-biblical?

(7) Do you believe it is possible for a Christian church to be beloved of God if its core teachings are anti-biblical?

(8) Do you consider this Baptist website a mission field for the preaching of Adventist doctrine whereby the members might come over to your fold?

Thank you in advance for your honest answers.

G=Have you read thru the NT by themselves, without reading any of EW comments on them?

I will use the opportunity to ask you questions which only require a ‘yes or no’ response.
Ok.

(1) Were your parents SDA?
No. My mother was a Methodist before marrying, and she married a Roman Catholic, and became Catholic by marriage (as she had to agree to before being married and had to agree to raise her children Catholic), and most of my immediate family (aunts, uncles, etc) are Roman Catholic, and served the bishop in their city in which they reside. Some have gone to their rest.

(2) Have you ever wondered why so many pastors and SDA church members have left Adventism?
No. I understand many of their cases (and also those who though denying certain doctrines/practices had/have remained in). Scripture tells me why in Acts 20:28-31, and in other places. I have read, watched and listed to many ex-Adventists (some who became Catholics, some JW, some non-denom., some Mormon, some Baptist, some even Muslim, and some atheists, some spiritualists, some Messianics, some lunar-sabbatarians (so called), etc), and they each differ on their reasons, and their current doctrine/practice.

(3) Have you ever read their testimonies which are online?
Yes. Probably hundreds of hours worth of material now, read, watched and listed to. I have read and seen much of Ratzlaff's material, and even had a magazine (Proclamation) placed upon my brothers (later converted with me from Roman Catholicism, after I had) car window, when I was but a 'baby' Seventh-day Adventist. I distinctly remember reading the entire thing on the way home, and shaking my head at it, and later wrote to Dale's online website ministry in response. I received no email in return, neither was the response ever printed in said publication. His is no the only one, and I have seen many others also, and wrote to them. I did get a response from the woman who became Catholic (you might know her Teresa Beem), and all she asked me before she continued any dialogue was to purchase her book. Needless to say the conversation did not get very far. She wouldn't even provide me a free copy. Directly spake with others in the online forums (authors of material), and those who were anti-cult ministries (though they were never Seventh-day Adventist themselves), and even one who still left their previous Seventh-day Adventist website up (Everlasting Gospel ..), but now preaches against what they previously wrote (I dialogued with him for several months and still have the correspondence).

(4) Are you currently under ‘probation’?
Yes. I do not believe OSAS, IG, etc ... and therefore, my present situation in Christ Jesus, is not yet permanent, as He still holds my crown for me.

(5) Would you be interested in discovering, for yourself, whether Sister White actually had ‘The Spirit of Prophecy’ from God?
I have studied the matter, but if you have something to share, please start a new thread. I would rather not this thread be used for that, if you would please.

(6) If I show you actual contradictions between Scripture and Sister White’s teaching, would you admit Scripture is correct and Sister White’s teaching is anti-biblical?
I have seen many things which many persons call 'contradictions', which is why I personally studied and wrote the following:

15 (so called) Bible Contradictions from Ellen G. White (PDF)

7 (so called) False Predictions From Ellen G. White (PDF)

If you have something that is not already present there, please post it in a new thread to consider, not this thread (please, as this thread is to have specific purpose).

(7) Do you believe it is possible for a Christian church to be beloved of God if its core teachings are anti-biblical?
I would have to know what you mean by "a Christian church" (are you referring to an 'organization/denomination') or to individuals that are a body (denominated).

If I may give example, the WTS (system/teachings where they err, God cannot condone), but the people (individuals) God loves, and God knows that some walk according to the light that they have. The system overall would not be classified (scriptually) as Christian, though that does not preclude individuals within to be ignorantly following God (kind of like Apollos in the NT, before knowing the fullness of the way).

(8) Do you consider this Baptist website a mission field for the preaching of Adventist doctrine whereby the members might come over to your fold?
Hmmm, mission field (sometimes seems more like a battlefield!), yet there is truth in it (would I love persons to be converted, sure, but I need no glory there). Whether persons convert is not so much my business here, as it is to share truths long forgotten by Baptists (I like Baptists more than most other, and had a good Russian Baptist friend some time ago, they married and we lost track of one another as we moved, and it was he (not only) that God used to inspire me to search the Bible, as I saw his own life begin to change when he was being converted to God in his Baptist faith, and God also used my Roman Catholic brother (now Seventh-day Adventist) to hand me some Baptist (IFB) Creation material, brother Kent Hovind (Love that guy and still recommend his materials, which I own), and wrote him on several occasions)), and some new things they may not know, and things shared at present with me by God (I share all that I have been given, whether any take it up with me or not). Some take up truth shared, and decide to remain Baptists. My goal is simply sharing truth, as that is most important to me. It is what I prayed for so long ago that God would give me. He answered.

Thank you in advance for your honest answers.
Hope those answers are to your satisfaction. Please start up a new thread if you desire to continue, but feel free to let me know if there is anything I have personally done to you that is not in harmony with Christ Jesus, here.

I have read the whole Bible (OT-NT and even the apocrypha (aka Roman Catholic Deutero-Canon) before I ever heard of Seventh-day Adventists (never even knew they existed until about 11 years ago), or Ellen G White.

Thank you very much for your honesty and straightforward responses.
They were quite helpful in understanding your background, both personal and religious.
I will start a new thread asking you questions based on Scripture alone.
I look forward to a meaningful dialogue with you.
FYI, in my experience the numerous testimonies I have read online share three prominent themes: (1) Sister White is a fraud; (2) SDA church does not understand biblical grace; teaching salvation ultimately by works; (3) Leaving the church was not easy, frequently taking years.
I will now begin a new thread.

You are welcome.

Well, you got a glimpse, that's for certain, but by no means the fullness. Lot's that was not stated, especially the dark portions, unto images like unto Legion.

I will start a new thread asking you questions based on Scripture alone.
Ok, fair enough. Thank you for starting a new thread.

I look forward to a meaningful dialogue with you.
Ok. as time allows, therefore, please have patience as I may not always be able to get back to you immediately. Things are different here these days.

I have read some similar things about those who left, and I would also add a few other aspects of testimonies, but no real need at the moment. Feel free to inquire further in other threads.

I will now begin a new thread.
Ok, I see it.

The Sermon on the Mount is not now, nor will it be in the future kingdom the rule of life for the believers. It was the Messiah’s interpretation of the righteous requirements of the Law of Moses in contradistinction with that of the Pharisaic Judaism of the first century.

In addition, the house built on sand is the teachings of first century Pharisaic Judaism, the house built on the rock are the teachings of messiah. The law of Moses in its entirety has been rendered inoperative.
