I copied this video of her resignation-----hope the link works but even if it doesn't-------whats the odds of the "Buck" stopping at HER Oval Office desk in '12?????

Or would my fellow Repubilicans rather see a Buchman ticket in '12????

Personally------if she wanted to hire Mayflower to move her from Juneau to Washington in '12-----she should not have resigned the governor's seat-------there is a proverb from the book of Jeremiah that reads-------"If the Footmen hath wearied thee, how shall you contend with the Horsemen??"

Ding-ding-ding! We have a winner. This resignation will put the nail in the coffin of any presidential aspirations. I didn't think she had a realistic chance before, but now she has no shot.

I hope this resignation doesn't affect Palin's ability to run in 2012. I look forward to seeing her, and her running mate, embarrassed, like it was in 2008.

Palin is simply another republican ding-bat who stumbled onto the political scene. I'm afraid her fifteen minutes are over, hopefully!

If any conservative were as outright mean as some of you are toward Palin, you would have such a violent fit...you would pass your kidney through your urethra (a truly memorable outburst).

Anyone for consistency? I thought not.

I don't know her...she may be a nice lady. But IMNSHO she doesn't have the brain power to take on the Presidency. She was over her head already in Alaska.

I have not nor would I vote for her. But some of the criticisms of her are drawn out of the wood work. What evidence do you have to support such a claim?
It is not a claim, it is an opinion, as prefaced by IMNSHO. However, my opinion is based on her own ineptitude during the '08 campaign, the Katie Couric interview, the Charlie Gibson interview, etc. It was her own words that shaped my view of her.

Not able to take on the Presidency can only be opinion as it has not yet happened yet. Over her head in Alaska can only be factually right or wrong as it has happened and the evidence is available.

So you cannot have an opinion on things that have happened? No so! I have an opinion on the validity of the secession of the CSA. I have an opinion on the Vietnam War. I have an opinion on Eisenhower's presidency.

Now if we want to debate her performance, then of course we could debate such with her actions in office. Bottom line, it would still be our opinions as to whether they are good or bad.

The facts may support or not support your opinion. Palin being over her head as Governor can only be right or wrong. And you have set a very low standard for coming to your "opinion".

Unfortunately your opinion is affected by the altitude!

Sarah Palin's competency certainly outshines that of the street hustler and "fellow traveler" from Chicago.

That is very much a matter of opinion and one I do not share. I have not seen much that she has done as governor of Alaska that makes me think she is capable of being president of the USA.

Perhaps we should give one of President Obama's. How about the Cap and Trade Bill. This one will do more damage to the United States than "W" or Palin could ever do in 100 years.

Off topic, the thread is about Sarah Palin. So, what are some of her great decisions?
