Most Libraries offer free access to online resources. The capital city library usually offers membership to all residents of the state and often has extensive online resources that can be accessed at home. Some states require all cities to offer cards to any resident of the state.

Most libararies purchase books requested by patrons, and some even encourage requests and provide an easy to use online form.

Some seminaries and Bible colleges allow visitors to use some of the onsite resources. Most state constitutions guarantee residents free access to public law libraries and the state house library. Law and state house libraries sometimes have full access to JSTOR and other databases with scholarly articles; permission to download articles on topics other than law and politics varies.

Speak to librarians at all the above type of libraries and quiz them on all possible resources that might be available to you. Never take the word of a single librarian that there is not more available: they don’t know what they don’t know.

Oops, I guess there is a time limit on when I can edit a post to add or replace anything with something better. I have found new stuff, but will wait awhile before I share anything unless it is really important. There was enough here to get anyone started. But I had nothing for Hebrew with a certificate, so I will add this.

Dr Barrick not only taught multiple semesters of Hebrew, but he also taught some OT courses.
Courses – DrBarrick.org

The courses were taught at The Master's Seminary | Producing Preachers at Grace Community Church

I am taking his Genesis course alongside the WVBS Genesis course. I don't think the free online certificate option includes the Hebrew translation work. I also cannot afford some of the required reading and don't have library access to them either. The certificate for Genesis might be just for completing the videos. I am not sure. I don't care about how valid the certificates are. I just want a paper trail of what I DID do for my own accountability and if someone later is EAGER to grant me some credit for what I did. I am on week 3 and hustling to catch up to where I am in the WVBS course. So far I am impressed with this course.
