Paradise on Earth

Howdy,

I am in the Air Force and just got transferred from Hawaii to Texas and was thinking about changing my screen name becasue of this. However, God has shown me that it doesn't matter where you live. All you need to do is look around at the sky, the trees, the animals, etc... You will quickly realize God's handy work no matter where you live and so I will keep my screen name even here in San Antonio, TX.

I guess the reason for this topic is I wanted to hear from all of you and list some things that just make you awe at God's awesome creative power here on Earth. I guess two of mine are basic ones but I never can look at the ocean or the mountains and just not be amazed at God's awesome power and creation. God Bless.

There are so many creations of our Lord that take my breath away. At times when admiring them I get so emotional...

* A sunrise at the beach
* Rainbows
* Thunderstorms
* Snowflakes
* Butterflies
* Newborn babies

There is no end to the list of the many creations that bless my heart everyday!

The detail of a newborn baby
The detail of an insect
The way plants make oxygen for us to breathe and the plants use the carbon dioxide we exhale to make food for themselves (sorry, I was just teaching this to my daughter in science class and I never really thought of it in quite the way the Christian Science book presented it and it just made me awe at God's ingenious.)
Everything in nature - the trees, the mountains, the sky, the clouds, the rocks - all of it

Oh without a doubt, thats number 1 for me.
We go frequently to Mammoth Cave National park, and just to see the beauty there makes me think of God as our creator.

Stars, the mountains, and the ocean can bring shivers to my spine. I have loved my parents, family, and friends but the love I have for my wife is so...so...good that to even try and imagine that God loves me more and will demonstrate this in the real paradise in heaven is just too overwhelming to take in.

I live in Texas and I love it, I have a friend that lives in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains in New York, every time I go up there and spend time with them it takes my breath away when I see God's handy work.
AF Guy how do you like San Antonio

That He was willing to die for me. It amazes me everyday.

In nature, there is nothing like riding my motorcycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway in the fall. Breathtaking.
