Will this FIRESTORM jump the pond to Tijuana? not for gas prices but for the Mexican government allowing the INVASORES into the country.

TEAR gas and water cannons have been fired by riot police in France amid a desperate struggle to control violent protests of more than 30,000 residents angry at President Emmanuel Macron over rising fuel prices.
French police locked horns with thousands of angry protesters who stormed the streets with placards wearing yellow vests before hurling objects at riot police and starting fires. Shocking images show demonstrators waving an array of flags and ramming metal barriers into police, with some being dragged away from the scene by officers. Paris is currently under a fog of tear gas, with demonstrators also being targeted with water cannons to fire at police. Officers are also seen edging closer to protestors using a wall of their shields.

That headline is a buit over the top. A few fires in the road does not mean Paris is burning. The French often do that in their protests. THey were also tearing up paving stones to tghrow at the police. Again that is the French way,

A number of years ago we were heading home, towing our caravan and approaching St Dizier. The traffic came to a halt and we were stationary for a long time. Eventually a foreign truck driver going in the opposite direction, saw our registration plates and wanted to try his English and he put his head out of his window and said "Eet ees streekers." We thought that sounded interesting. It seemed that he meant strikers. The protesters were protesting against unemployment and had declared St Dizier a "Ville Mort." a dead town and had blocked off all roads into and out of the town, When we eventually began to move, we came to a place where the protesters had made a fire of burning tyres across a road under a bridge. The gendarmes were just standing by watching. We gingerly drove past the fire and went through the town and were again stopped by protesters on the way out,

It is the French way of protesting.

Yeah, these protests in France have been going on for some time, and the French love to protest in streets, why I think Trump wouldn't go over there on Armistice Day, it was just too unsafe.

Hank's last pics looks like it's escalating - I have heard that they are angry that the gasoline taxes have gone up so high and here I thought they cared about climate change. In all seriousness, this country has had several revolutions, all of them pretty violent, so it could get much worse.

I'm wondering now that violence around the globe is escalating if the Spirit is receding Himself
in restraining influence if that is the meaning of

2 Thessalonians 2
5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things?
6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.

Taxes, taxes, and more taxes - and that is the way all these newfangled Socialist Democrats want to go. Don't they realize that at some point people will have had enough and then they blow?

We are headed for the ultimate cashless society.

Revelation 13
16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

Gotta protect the nanny state at all cost.

Protesting has gone to a new level. I have been wondering how much longer before we see this in our own country. The whole world has been turned upside down as tensions continue to rise all over the world. We are at the end of the church age and I really think the rapture could happen anytime between now and maybe 2024. I just don't see how all this tension can keep going without something happening. God did say though that we would see trials and tribulations. That wars and rumors of wars, famine, sickness and persecution would happen before the Lord's return. There are so many old illnesses that have surfaced in many countries that were eradicated in this country. Earthquakes are not mentioned on TV unless it is a really bad one but they are happening a lot. I look at our weather and see God in the mix. He is giving us a warning for people to come to him and be saved but so many people are ignoring the signs. I just wish and pray for more people to see what is happening and come to the Lord to be saved. Things are not what they appear to be. Look up for our redemption is near.

France is a republc just as the USA is,

They always have these demontrations. The protest started by truck drivers due to the hike in diesel (gaz ole) prices. They used to be much less than petrol (essence) but now gaz ole (aka gas oil) is more expensive than the Sans plomb 95 (unleaded) but less than sans plomb 98. Most French cars run on diesel as it was by far the least expensive as well as giving more miles per gallon.. When I was there last week Diesel was 1.449 Euros per litre. Our car is a diesel and we used to fill up when we were there as it was about three quarters the price here, but bow it is slightly dearer than ours. Many cities have polution charges on diesel cars.

Diesel is much more poluting than petrol, and I guess the hike in taxes is to encourage drivers to change to petrol, or they could change to GPL (LPG) which is much less expensive, or electric cars.

Don't the Americans protest on the streets when the police frequently shoot an innocent man?

It turns out that the UK conspired with the Democrats to smear Trump with Christopher Steele. What is it that the UK calls there spy service? I recall that the UK arrested a guy for some political correctness stuff on behalf of Allah and he was murdered in prison. The UK is a police state from what we hear over here. At any rate, the UK has regressed on all fronts.
