Thanks for sharing. We need more Pastors who live the Scripture and not just preach them. This man doesn’t understand submission to government. (Cf. 1 Peter 2, Romans 13)

Could it be that this preacher is tempting God?

And saith unto him, If thou be the
Son of God, cast thyself down: for it
is written, He shall give his angels
charge concerning thee: and in their
hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any
time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Do you think that the preacher is saying essentially the same thing to his congregrants that the devil said to Jesus?

He sees himself as obeying higher authority, God!

Nope. Nope. Nope.

That higher authority - God, Himself - said to obey governing autalling!might be on it, as he might take forsaking not the assembly as higher chorities [unless they require you to sin.]
I am not supporting that Pastor, just saying that his thinking might be that not forsaking together of believers might be higher calling!

They probably said the same about people who would not obey the state and turn in Jews in Nazi Germany!
Your drawing an analogy between jeopardizing American lives and dog Nazis who killed 6 million Jews because they wanted ethnic cleansing? Really!?!

My wife and I went grocery shopping and to the drug store this morning. Were we testing God? God forbid!

This Pastor was arrested for "unlawful assembly". Why weren't all in attendance also arrested?

All of the social/economic practices put in place to deal with this virus will probably have long-term unintended consequences. I suspect many businesses will not re-open after this passes. Many "retirees" have lost their "nest-eggs", never to recover. The Congress and this Administration is putting us so far in the financial hole we will be a long time digging out, if we ever return to pre-virus conditions. These so-called "bail-outs", requiring the printing presses to run overtime, are setting us up for hyper-inflation a few years down the road.

I understand the United States is not mentioned in end-time prophecy. If so, our role on the world stage diminish. This current circumstance could be part of God's plan to bring the necessary changes about.

You and your wife weren't testing God by going shopping unless you went there in a cramped tight city bus.

I'm not sure that arresting people is the thing to do for unlawful assembly violations of this type. Maybe turning off utilities, padlocking the doors, and barricading the property until the crisis is over would be a better option for known violators.

Your points of concern are valid. If this is truly a war, the time may come when we have to realize that in order to preserve the nation, we will need to get back to work in spite of any deaths which may ensue. I think that Mr. Trump expressed that point earlier when he said that an economic depression could cause more deaths than the disease.

Don't know anything about the guy, but reading this article he sounds like a quack. Nevertheless, I am not a fan of arresting pastors to make a point. If he was guilty of unlawful assembly, so was everyone else present.
