Peaceful Spot

I enjoy a peaceful spot where I can pray and be quiet. This is one of my favorite places in Central Florida, in Mt. Dora. Where are some of your peaceful or quiet places?

I need to find a quiet spot. I certainly admire that one of yours. God bless you.

Where's the mount? :Biggrin

But seriously, the church grounds themselves are my quiet spot. Too much time on the road, absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that.

In Florida, a landfill counts as a "mount". LOL

Out my front door. The house is way off the road, I always leave the GPS on when returning from a trip just to hear it say......navigate off road, heh. Home.

This reminds me of my son when we would visit my parents. They lived in the country and my son was outside for awhile. After he came back, I asked him where he had been. He calmly replied: "The isle of peace."
Turns out it was a small opening in a grove of trees. It was sheltered from the wind and I understood what he meant.
We all need an isle of peace that shelters us from the wind.
