    Yes David lost the temple, yet the Bible also calls him the "sweet psalmist of Israel (2Sam 23;1), and scripture indicates David was a man after God's own heart (1Sam 16;12, Acts 13;22)


    Looks to me like David had God's approval for many of his killings.
